Even if one factors in Lil’ Wayne’s ire at being evicted from the Miami Heat arena during the L.A. Lakers game last week, it is hard to not get turned off by his rant. Was it necessary? Or…was it for real? Or was it a nicely timed publicity stunt?
In an interview with Miami’s 99 JAMZ, the rapper said –
“Let me start off by saying, I don’t apologize for that night, I don’t apologize for being who I am. That’s who I am, this is who I am, and yes I did say those things. Only thing I do want to take back from saying that night is I said ‘F**k LeBron,’ I didn’t mean to say that because me and LeBron we are cool and I’m really cool with his mom and we have a real good relationship, and that’s my homie but it just slipped out. I didn’t mean to say that. Other than that though I don’t take nothing back.”
Take a look at this preview video; group mates 50 and Kendrick Lamar team up for this track We Up. It is set to be a part of Kidd Kidd’s new tape that will be coming soon. And on the other hand, don’t be too surprised if the number ends up living on 50 Cent’s long-awaited album Street King Immortal.
Get an idea of what this is about courtesy this teaser. The video has been shot by Eif Rivera.
An interesting video here coz’ of the eclectic mix of rappers on it and also because of the one that’s missing. Gucci Everything is from Red Cafe’s mixtape “American Psycho” and it released late last year. Coming back to the track, it features Chief Keef, French Montana and Fabolous. The number, on the mixtape has Game spitting out verses but he’s absent from the video. Check out the video directed by long-time Red Cafe faithful Joe Puma.
Chief Keef is the surprise package here sounding good and enunciating clearly. This year, we are also going to see the release of his album ShakeDown, via Bay Boy/Interscope.
Cassidy may have had his few moments under the sun after the Meek Mill diss and he also has a few things planned for this year. He’s now gone on air and is stating that he does not have anything personal against Meek Mill. Check video for the interview.
But Meek Mill’s probably not having any of it and has gone on an all out twitter offensive against Cassidy. Here’s what he tweeted.
“10mins of fiction ….. And a old a** flow that nobody will never play in a car! #yadone atleast ya got back on da radio #saythanks”
“In about 50days everyone will forget about ya again …. And we still gone b balling! #rememberthistweet lol”
“Made n*ggas sit up 2 12:00am for that bullsh*t…. People gotta go 2 work and church tomar!”
“Y’all serious? Or y’all just want a n*gga 2 drop some new sh*t?,” Meek tweeted January 6th.
“This how u can tell weirdos making a big impact in the world right now!” (Meek Mill’s Twitter)
Michael Blackson stars in Kony Montana, the talented Ghanaian-American tweeted – I will be back with this Kony Montana shit but for now some nigga from #TeamLightSkin is roasting me. Michael, also known as Click Click Boy has honed his comedy skills in Philadelphia and credits Eddie Murphy as an inspiration.
The cast also has Young Jack Thriller @jackthriller, Michael Blackson @MichaelBlackson, London “Deelishis” Charles @IamDEELISHIS, Reginald Ballard @BruhMan_5flo, Cory Fernandez @Cory_Fernandez, Cassidy @CASSIDY_LARSINY & Leslie Jones @Lesdoggg.

For many this may be old news, and I don’t know what moves me to begin the first post of the New Year talking about this. Tupac is a legend. And was a lyrical scholar. Follow the link at the end of the post to check out more videos. This one over here indicates that Tupac wanted to end the Illuminati.
These guys, many believe, are all-powerful. And also behind the deaths of Tupac, John Lennon, and even Bob Marley. Popular culture is apparently manipulated by them, as are the big businesses. How would they match up to the Freemasons? Food for thought on an idle afternoon. You know, like who wins, the saltwater croc or the great white shark.
Kanye may have won 18 Grammys in all, albeit according to him these are “Black Categories” but he still seems to hold a grudge against the awards, he feels he’s been shortchanged.
Here is what he specifically said, midway through a performance at Revel in Atlantic City that came with the trademark Kanye outfits and energetic performance.
“I love Maroon 5, but when I lost for ‘Best New Artist’ to Maroon 5… Or when Watch The Throne and Dark Fantasy, neither of them got nominated for ‘Album of the Year,’ or when ‘Niggas in Paris’ didn’t get nominated for ‘Record of the Year’… So don’t expect to see me at the Grammys this year, you nah mean?!”
Hotel California…no, not that one, this one is by Tyga and is expected to come out next year in March and will be the Young Money rapper’s third studio album. What we have here is the first single off the album and it is called 187. The title of the track and his latest mixtape are both the same, but we can put that down to coincidence.
Tyga has enlisted the help of Rick Ross for this track and you can check out the video of the young cub and the senior pro trading verses. Do you discern any similarities with “Deep Cover”, the Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog classic?
