There is no word on how ASAP’s dad died. This is what the rapper had said about his dad in an interview –

“Well, my dad is from Barbados. He was a clean cut kind of a guy, especially in the way he dressed,”  “I just took the advice he gave me and I ran with it. ASAP Rocky Is Confident That Kanye Inspired By Him

ASAP Rocky chatted up DJ Drama and for a change it wasn’t about music, but about fashion; kinda related and a cool thing to chat about. ASAP dropped the fact that he is dead sure about his sartorial elegance inspiring Kanye West.

But perhaps what was more interesting was what the up-and-coming rapper had to say about Lil Wayne’s dressing sense “I hate the way Lil Wayne dresses sometimes,” “The lime green Ugg boot thing? I didn’t like that but that’s his style. There’s people who probably hate the way I dress – not a lot – but a few people might hate the way I dress. That’s my style. At the end of the day, I’m not judging. They asked me my opinion, how I felt, and all I gave them was my feedback. He’s got way more money than me, way more successful so I can’t say nothing bad about him.”

A$AP Rocky & Kendrick Lamar Perform “F*ckin’ Problems” In Oakland

ASAP Rocky, touring to promote his forthcoming album titled LongLiveA$AP, pulled a surprise on the audience when he had Kendrick Lamar join him on stage to spit verses from the number “F*ckin Problems”. The number also features 2 Chainz and Drake, but these homies were conspicuous by their absence.

Rocky performed to a sold out crowd and had other guest stars come up on stage as well, but it was this collaboration that got the most cheers. The number, if the buzz is to be believed, is the standout song of this fall / winter. Let’s see what the album brings in toto.
