Both 50 Cent and the Game have alluded to a strong possibility of the G-Unit coming together. The Game was first of the blocks having said that the possibility of a G-Unit reunion depends totally on how 50 Cent approaches the issue. Game, on his part, is open to work with not only Fif but also Jay-Z.
And now with the CES approaching, 50 Cent has been heard making similar noises. He’s at the venue to promote his SMS line of headphones; he is all set to unveil Street by 50, a new high-end line ranging in price from $180 to $300.
About the possibility of a reunion, he said - “People grow in different directions. [They] have different agendas about things they want to do and they’re sorting themselves out in that way and I’m focused on things that are important to me right now, but there’s a strong possibility there will be a G-Unit [collaboration] with the three of us. But right now, I’m focused on my solo project.”
Chief Keef gives us a sneak peek into his debut album with this track “Hate Bein Sober”. It features 50 cent and Wiz Khalifa though the track given below features only the verse by fif. Keep heart though, the Interscope album “Finally Rich” that comes out on December 18th will be complete with verses from 50 and Wiz Khalifa.
Stay tuned for the album dropping this Tuesday, meanwhile check out this Young Chop production.
Yuri Gamboa, former Olymic gold medalist and fighting after more than one year, had little difficulty in dispatching his rival from Philippines, Michael Farenas, and in the process handing 50 Cent his first win as a boxing promoter.
The fight was important for Gamboa as at stake was the WBA interim-super featherweight title and that rests with him right now. Although he won by a comfortable margin, Gamboa did have a scare in the ninth round when he was knocked down. The final score read 117-109, 118-108 and 117-108 in Gamboa’s favor.
Behind the scenes video showing Gamboa getting ready and Fif taking a tour -
Okay, first up…this is one classy website. Yes, Hip Hop Press is, we know that, but I am talking about Howstuffworks.com. I have visited it many times and always come back with some new information and some pages bookmarked for future use.
now, it turns out that 50 Cent has actually purchased a stake in the website. So, not only is it a cool site it is also doing very well financially and Fif too attested to the fact in an interview with DJ Pub Dawg.
In a separate interview with Ryan Seacrest, 50 Cent said that 2013 will see him touring with a live band, he might also take off on a tour with Detroit legend Eminem.
Wow, finally it is out. The real reason why 50 Cent is sore at Mayweather. Th pugilist apparently owes the rapper $2 million.
In fif’s words - “[Mayweather] changed his mind…as he was actually going in to jail, he asked me to help him with Mayweather Promotions,” “As he actually got in and I took a look, I realized there is no Mayweather Promotions: there’s no LLC, there’s no seals, there’s no ‘incorporated’…technically, Floyd is a Golden Boy fighter [for Oscar De La Hoya's promotion firm]. He fights on every Golden Boy card, they do all the footwork…so when he says, ‘Help me with Mayweather Promotions,’ and it’s not there, I go, ‘Okay, I know what he means: he wants me to put it together for him.’ So I do TMT Promotions, I get it all the way together…he comes home, and there’s the, ‘Let’s get Floyd back in pocket’ campaign that goes on, where there’s $300,000 chains being bought and buying him the new Lambourghini…and I’m sitting there going, ‘When are you going to give me the money?’…It’s about [$2 million owed] at that point. When he finally does bring up the actual situation, he acted like he didn’t know anything. Like, ‘I didn’t tell y’all to do that.”
On Nov 26th Eminem and 50 Cent released the duo’s latest collaboration and both had an interesting take on it. The video premieres tomorrow on MTV at 6 am.
According to Eminem “The video is kind of abstract; it’s kind of metaphoric in a sense, like the paranoia of feeling like we’re being chased,” “Whether it’s true or not, it’s kind of how we feel. It’s kind of a metaphor for us running for our lives. Personal lives and from fame, everything that goes with the game.”
Fif added “The album itself is more personal than the albums in the past Now this record, it’s allowed us to do different things creatively. I’ve been able to come out a few times, more than usual to come to Detroit and work with Em for this record.”
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is now the proud owner of a fight promotion company, SMS Promotions which has already acquired four top-notch fighters – Yuriorkis Gamboa, Andre Dirrell, Billy Dib and Celestino Caballero.
Fif said “I love boxing and have always been a big fan of the sport, so it feels especially great for me to be involved with the game at this level. My goal is to build SMS Promotions into one of boxing’s most respected promoters and bring the best fights to audiences nationwide.”
December 8th may see a fight promoted by SMS. It is set to be between Yuriorkis Gamboa and a yet-to-be named fighter.
Barely a few days after a twitter spat with Floyd Mayweather, fif has moved on to another quarry and this time it is Rick Ross. Florida is Rozay’s home state and the artist headlined this year’s Homecoming concert at Florida A&M.
Pics showing poor attendance prompted a slew of tweets from fif that alternated between poking fun and offering (faux) sympathy for Rick Ross.
“When was this?RT @Nai_soFierce: Cc:@50Cent RT @Nai_soFierce: Rick Ross concert -http://instagr.am/p/R4J3OKPJ7B/,” Fif tweeted November 11th.
“That not his fault bad promotions,of the show or maybe ,is it over ? DAMN!!! Hold up I think I see puffy in the crowed. SMSAUDIO”
“In miami RT @Ac11204: @50cent it’s was tonite miami fl ,no one showed , how he think he going to be like my boy 50 lololololol”
“thats FAMU boy oh boy fat man no love at HOME?SMSaudio”
“My man from chicago just told me the GD’s on da boy. Man forget the show, that’s not the PROBLEM. SMSaudio”
“I just saw that video. I think they just squeezing him,he might be alright. Just gotta spit a hot 16 for em. LMAO #SMSaudio” (50 Cent’s Twitter)
Rick Ross on his part made it a point to thank his fans for attending the show.
Fif presents a video of the track Money from his album 5 (Murder by Numbers) that was released earlier this year.
It’s a snazzily shot video of 50 cent relaxing on his bed smoking a joint and counting money; showing no interest at all in the bevy of scantily-clad beauties around him. In short, the kind of video that defines your run-of-the-mill hip hop video with the babes gyrating and the dude spitting lyrics lookin’ mean.
You’ve seen one, you’ve seen all. But as you know often there’s comfort in revisiting the known and you can enjoy the same.
