DJ Paul to do Community Service as Punishment

paul getty

Three 6 Mafia’s DJ Paul has been awarded community service for getting caught with taser. And all of 21 hours of it, this comes his way because he was caught with a taser last year.

In the October of 2012, DJ Paul was arrested for misdemeanor and possession of a weapon. The artist originally contested the charge but then later struck a bargain with the prosecutors; he’s now guilty of disorderly conduct. What actually happened was that the artist was stopped by cops after leaving a restaurant with an open beer in his hand. That was sheer bad luck because the artist happened to be carrying a taser and that compounded his misery.

Arrest Warrants Out for Suge Knight

Two new arrest warrants have been issued against Suge Knight, not so sweet. But why? Basically, the man is wanted for two cases: one in 2011 and another in 2012, and both pertain to driving without license. The two warrants now issued amount of $5,000 and $30,000 have been issued for Knight, who is already reportedly on unsupervised probation. These have come about mainly because Suge had a court hearing scheduled for the 20th but he failed to turn up. Instead he turned up for a date with Snoop Lion.

From being a media mogul to this…it has been a downward spiral for Suge. Drug possession, assault, parking lot violations, jail time and more, this man has seen and done it all. We wish him luck.

Lil’ Wayne Speaks on His Miami and NBA Diss on All-Star Weekend

lil wayne

Even if one factors in Lil’ Wayne’s ire at being evicted from the Miami Heat arena during the L.A. Lakers game last week, it is hard to not get turned off by his rant. Was it necessary? Or…was it for real? Or was it a nicely timed publicity stunt?

In an interview with Miami’s 99 JAMZ, the rapper said –

“Let me start off by saying, I don’t apologize for that night, I don’t apologize for being who I am. That’s who I am, this is who I am, and yes I did say those things. Only thing I do want to take back from saying that night is I said ‘F**k LeBron,’ I didn’t mean to say that because me and LeBron we are cool and I’m really cool with his mom and we have a real good relationship, and that’s my homie but it just slipped out. I didn’t mean to say that. Other than that though I don’t take nothing back.”

Here’s a video of the diss in case you missed it.

Ricky Hil Says “SYLDD” Support Your Local Drug Dealer – Reveals Artwork n Tracklist

ricky hil

Ricky Hil hasn’t been heard of in a while but he’s back with an ostensibly instigatory title to his mixtape. It’s taken two years in the making and in these two years the artist has compiled songs to go with the track title “SYLDD”; that’s made up from the initials of Support Your Local Drug Dealer. Of course, in all likelihood there’s a moral to the tales in here and a twist.

Check out the artwork and the tracklist. This comes out today.

Lil Wayne Reveals How Kanye Designed the Cover for “I Am Not A Human Being II”

Lil Wayne had this interesting revelation to make about the cover art of his upcoming album, “I Am Not a Human Being II”. The album has a release date of March 26th.

“[Kanye] said, you know, man, let me do your cover. I saw the cover and I approved it. He had an explanation behind it – he said, he chose the moth butterfly thing because it has so many different stages of life, and it goes through so many forms and changes, and no one can figure it out, and it’s always beautiful. At a time it’s ugly and at a time it’s beautiful too. And that’s me.”

Tony Yayo, Ex G-Unit Says Things Were Better When They Didn’t Have Such Money

50 Cent is the boss man at the G-Unit and he is ruthless in his drive to keep his group in top shape. To this end, he had announced last year that Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks were no longer part of the gang and the reason for their exit was their lack of a strong work ethic.

Tony; however, chooses to differ and places money as the root of the issue. In an interview with MTV he said – “When we were broke, and we didn’t have a pot to piss in, we were all callin’ each other’s phones and that’s the thing that just upsets me the most, and it makes me just want to say, ‘F*** rap,'” “Loyalty is my biggest thing. 50 helped all of us eat. We all had mansions; we all had Bentleys; so if Fif is in a bad mood or feels a certain way that day, you just eat that. You learn to judge your friends for who they are.”
