WORLD PREMIERE: Oreo Jones x Action Jackson – “Black Fabio” (Video)

Action Jackson’s and Oreo Jones’s auditory saga “Black Fabio” has been given the visual treatment by director Mike Charizopoulos of Digital Rabbit Productions!

Rad Summer is proud to debut the new music video from Action Jackson and Oreo Jones for their song “Black Fabio”. The pair linked up with director Mike Charizopoulus of Digital Rabbit Productions to craft a visually interesting and humorous interpretation of their titular character Black Fabio. The trio ultimately conceived a plot that would encompass the life of the debonaire and irreverent lover. If you take away nothing else from this video, please understand that from the time he awakes to the time he slumbers, Black Fabio is always living for the love the ladies.

When Oreo Jones debuted his Halloween 2010 costume Black Fabio, no one expected it to spawn a concept mixtape that keeps you dancing and laughing front to back. Nine months later and with the help of Action Jackson, that is exactly what’s been created. Just as Fabio was never constrained by wearing a shirt, OJ and Jackson chose not to be encumbered by genre and drew from anything including rap to post-punk to moombahton. The “Black Fabio” mixtape is an unique collection of 14 tracks that tell the saga of the titular character. Starting with the title track and moving forward through “Niagara Falls”, Oreo and Action prove why they are two of the most creative emerging artists. “Black Fabio” the mixtape is available for FREE DOWNLOAD or STREAM now!

Jeremih: Let Me Clear Up The Story

Jeremih has spoken out on why he had to walk off stage during a recent performance where he was pelted with drinks.

As for his lateness, he insists the reason was because promoters didn’t set up the stage or equipment up properly. He also says that he did not lip-sync, but rather sang loudly over a recording of his own voice. And as for why the drink was thrown — apparently a crowd-member’s boyfriend got jealous after she threw her panties at the singer on stage — and that was just his retaliation. “The whole thing was a horrible experience,” he tells TMZ.

Waz Most – Black Girl (Video & Mp3)

“Black Girl” is Waz Most first single from his debut album Reflections of Life. This track features Waz Most as a relaxed kat trying to rap about his ideal type of women. It’s a classic throw back of a love joint with real ideals and consciousness within the lyrics. This couldn’t have come at a better time in the industry when some of the focus has been about exploiting black women. Waz Most took a different approach and has unleashed a joint that shows respect to our women as those who are truly “swimming in polluted waters but strong enough to raise our sons and daughters”. His flow is steady and smooth as it rides the calming piano and tempting cymbal base lines. Waz Most draws us in with his impeccable timing and his conversational type flow which captures the movement & rhythm of a beat that’s hanging on his every word. This is sound fluidity at its best with no spaces just pure “mental stimulation”. Now take all this coupled with thought provoking lyrics and you have a hip hop joint that’s sure to be embraced by old and young, both men and women as it uplifts, promotes, and references positive relationships within the black community.

About Waz Most:

Made his debut as a member of the group Lost Generation with the track “Represent My Niggas” on the compilation album “The Union Presents Organize Rhymes”. Jet 2 – Drippin’ Swagu (Feat. BeeGee) x Jet 2 – Game Over

“I don’t ever let them tell me there are any limits man.,” says an excited Jet 2 who’s real name is Jonathan Ihejeto. “Every time I approach a song or a new project, I always approach it with the mind set that will allow me to try and be the best possible artist that I can be to create the best music for the people.” Jet 2 speaks with such confidence and faith, it’s no wonder why Twenty-year-old Jonathan Ihejeto, is amassing quite the following. Jet 2 believes in his music, and the messages behind it.

Born to Nigerian Parents, Music was always apart of the rapper Jet 2′s life growing up. As an early youth, artist such as 2Pac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, The Notorious B.I.G., and Eminem helped shape Jet 2’s love for music, and allowed for Jet to find a unique love for the genre, and the culture. Jet 2 can recall many instances in which he would just fall in love with the radio at young age. Jet 2 was born with the love for music because it is in his genes; he is the son of Jerry Ihejeto which is a musician himself.

Jet 2 enrolled at Susan Miller Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, California. “Around school, people would rap, and have freestyle battles, that would draw crowds and I wanted to see if I was actually as good as I thought I was. I would rap and draw high praise from the crowds attending, and I took that as a reflection of how could I was, and how good I could possibly be. So that’s when I started recording any and everywhere that I could, and that’s when I started to focus on honing my craft, and approaching music as a possible career path, and not a hobby.” All throughout high school, Jet 2 recorded a plethora of songs, and freestyles, that attributed to his name garnering a buzz in his neighborhood.

There are plenty of things in the future to look forward from the artist known as Jet 2. His project, “The Mission Back To The Terminal” is due out in June and with Jet 2’s prolific work ethic, there is no telling what the future holds for him. With everything involving Jet 2’s music, he is determined to make sure that his product his a reflection of his views on life, and his values as well. Jet 2 states, “When you do music, and actually take it seriously as a career, you then have a voice.” Jet 2’s music is filled with stories about everyday life, and the struggles the average person encounters in trying to make a life better for himself, and the people around him. Jet 2 also speaks on having a voice, and possibly having music that can define the situations that his peers are facing right now. Jet 2 also states that. “With my music, I have a true desire to express my inner most desires and the world that surrounds me. I want my music to be an expression of myself, my team, my peers, and my culture because at the end of the day, I do this for my culture and I hope that everyone can hear that in my music.”
