Notorious B.I.G’s Family Not Informed Before Autopsy Report Release – LAPD Embarrassed

In a major embarrassment to the Los Angeles Police Department, it has been revealed that the release of autopsy report of the murdered artist did not have prior approval from Notorious B.I.Gs family. L.A.P.D has been quick to issue an apology for the blunder.

The official statement released in the name of Capt. Billy Hayes read –

“Due to an administrative error, the autopsy report was released prematurely.  Robbery-Homicide Division detectives had intended to notify Mr. Wallace’s family prior to releasing the report,” “Our detectives personally spoke with the Wallace family [Friday] night, and apologized for not notifying them prior to the release” “Obviously this has been a challenging case for us to solve.  We hope that witnesses or other people with information will come forward and give us the clues we need to solve this case.”
