Within a day of celebrating her birthday and being fresh n happy from the release of her mixtape Back to Business, rapper Katrina Taylor aka Trina has been hit with a $50 million lawsuit, basically it’s for non-appearance. But $50 million!
Trina said “I have no idea what they’re talking about,” she said. “I don’t know what’s going on with that. I do know that the ‘Next Top Rapper’ show— whatever it is—I didn’t really know I was supposed to do it at first.”
“I don’t really know what happened from the production or from whatever but I know I was in the city they were filming in and we never filmed anything. I have no idea why that information has surfaced. I laughed ‘cuz I thought it was really hilarious. Really? 50 million? For what?”
Omnipresent, the plaintiff states “Plaintiff began to promote the event without the aid of the promotional material, plaintiffs were able to secure tens of thousands of dollars in contestant registration funds,” and then…Trina ditched them by not appearing for the show “America’s Next Top Rapper” on Dec. 30, 2011 in Dorchester, Mass.
