OVO, that would be October’s Very Own, which is Drake’s record label is now a part of Warner Bros Records. He’s evidently taken his cue from Rick Ross who signed a deal with Warner Bros linking his imprint MMG with the big company.
Even though Drake is signed with YMCMB under Universal; he has worked hard on building the OVO brand through his annual OVO music festival in Toronto and releasing new music through the OVO blog. No official announcement from Drake but we can expect one soon, before the week is over.
Does this mean that we can expect some new music through this partnership in 2013. Noah “40” Shebib, are you ready?
