Rihanna has finally cracked the top spot for debut albums at Billboard. Unapologetic has debuted at #1 and sold 240K albums in the first week, giving the artist her biggest ever first week.
On the other hand, Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up” did what most had predicted it would – it tanked and sold a mere 38K copies in its first week. Just goes to show, you cannot endlessly rehash old stuff and present “new” wine in a new bottle.
Keisha Cole brings up the top ten with 96k copies sold of “Woman to Woman”.
Anyway, our congrats go out to the Bajan songstress for her first number one debut in the United States.
