Slim is a 24 year old producer, songwriter and artist. Given his start at RSMG through Lee Ent in 2006, he began his start as a ghostwriter and producer who generated a buzz with a single titled “Get it” featuring Reema. Discovered by Russell Simmons Best friend and business associate Kenny Lee, it was under his guidance that Slim was groomed to be a writer . The label soon folded due to internal dissatisfactions within the company and slim was forced to fend for himself in the industry. he later linked with production team BKS/ Flawless Tracks and began recording the material that is now leading to his growing buzz.. Slim has dropped countless videos within the last year that amassed over 50,000 views , 3 consecutive mixtapes that have exceeded 15,000 dls and a strong work ethic that is widely respected in the underground nyc music scene. After 7 virals released last year to support his previous mixtapes Introduction To Dollars, Hell Up In Harlem and Songs About here ( all can be downloaded for free on limelinx). He has already headlined shows at manhattans famous Santos Party Haus , Irving Halls “Get Your Buzz Up ” Event, Southpaw in BK and frequent shows with Rocawear Sponsored shows with frequent Funk/Rock/HipHop Collaborator Navegante’ .
