Kanye West, Diddy and Will.i.am are all in hot water for helping their friend Swizz Beats promote his file-sharing site MegaUpload.com. They put out a viral “Mega Song” video a few months ago, and their label, Universal, is none too pleased. Execs have asked YouTube to take the clip down because they feel the site promotes piracy.
But Swizzy and MegaUpload are fighting back with a lawsuit, claiming that they have legally binding agreement saying that Kanye, Diddy and will were allowed to be a part of the promo. –Rahim Wright
