Wyclef Jean and Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis have released their documentary about the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti. They filmed Hours After the Quake: Picking Up the Dead in Search of the Living with a hand-held camera, chronicling their experiences as co-founders of the non-profit organization Yele and the fight to recover. Parts of the movie are graphic in nature as Wyclef himself is shown removing bodies from streets buried in rubble.
Two years ago this past Thursday, the earthquake killed more thanks 316,000, injured 300,000, left 1.2 million homeless and orphaned 1 million children. –Christina Isaacs
