CALLING ALL LOVERS, LOW-RIDERS AND MOVIEGOERS, The new feature film, "A Gangland Love Story" by Houston filmmaker Greg Carter is off to the races. The film debuted on Warner (VOD) Video on Demand and Avail TVN on June 22, 2010 and is available through August 21, 2010. The DVD is set a July 20th nationwide release and will be available at Blockbuster, NetFlix, Best Buy, Wal-mart and Amazon.com
The soundtrack will be released early fall via Select-O-Hits. The title track from the movie, "Elbows & Vogues", was performed by Paul Wall, Lil Keke, Yung Redd, Coota Bang, & Archie Lee. The Track was composed by Sean Blaze & Phillip Moore for Relentless Entertainment.
The World Premiere is scheduled for July 20th, 2010 at the River Oaks Theatre, 2009 West Gray St., Houston, TX 77019. This 21st century fable of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" will begin @ 7:30 pm.
The premiere will benefit the Houston Food Bank and admission is free to the general public with the donation of non-perishable food items.
The "After-Party" will be held at the new "Azul Lounge" located at 9880 Buffalo Speedway, Houston,TX 77025.
Synopsis – Julia, the protected baby sister of a feared African American crime lord, and Romano, the nephew of a rivaled leader in a Latino organization, have fallen in love and runaway together.  Their getaway vehicle of choice: a customized Cadillac convertible.  Before long they discover that the customized wheels and tires on their getaway car are packed with 20 million dollars in drugs!  Now, their lovers' getaway has set off a cross-country chase involving both crime lords and the Russian Mafia.
