Fans Weigh In: Music Lover's Don't Find Cookie Cutter Artist Attractive, Da Public's Eye Says Let There Be Light
Atlanta, GA (May 25, 2010) – Music lovers are disappointed by the music industry masquerading cookie cutter artist as talented performers, and many feel that substance and creativity has been lost in the music of todays artist.  In a recent poll taken on dapublicseye.com a high level of distain was expressed in regards to the current state of black music.  For over more than a month 1200 participants gave their biggest gripes about the music being endorsed by the music industry.  The one response that continued to appear was "the lack of diversity and creativity displayed" by veterans and newcomers.  Da Public's Eye has stepped up to dispel the myth that creativity and substance has been lost in the music industry.
This couldn't be better demonstrated than through his 2009 project "I AM U..The Mixtape", featuring remixes of Drake's Forever, Lady Gaga's Paparazzi and Jeremiah's Imma Star. When asked what he thought about the recent complaints of music lovers, he said, "I am not surprised, there are so many talented independent artist that get robbed of their image, style and creativity to be placed in a box, to ensure they do not out shine what the industry has already labeled superstars."  "The craziest thing is that even though people complain about the gimmicks and dumbed down tracks, they fail to make their voices heard in terms of support for independent artist, he continued.
