ATLANTA, GA – March, 15, 2010 – Less than one year after impacting the Urban music market with his mainstream debut mixtape Your Future Favorite Rapper, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League/Asylum/ Warner Bros. Records artist Laws is heading to Austin, Texas to perform during the Music portion of the SXSW Festival in showcases presented by URB Magazine, Digiwaxx, Red Gorrilla and Grand Hustle Records.
Still riding the success of his second project, the "4:57" mixtape with DJ Don Cannon, Laws will kick off SXSW's final weekend of music with three shows on Thursday, March 18, 2009. First, on Thursday afternoon at 2:25pm CDT, he will grace the "South By South Next" stage, presented by URB Magazine, in conjunctionl. The Official URB 100 Showcase will be held at Light Bar (408 Congress Ave.).
About an hour later, Laws will head over to The Ranch (710 W. 6th Street), temporarily renamed "House of Waxx" in honor of Digiwaxx's 3-day music oasis "The Blast Live." His performance begins at 3:45pm CDT.
Later that evening, Laws will hit the stage at Blind Pig (317 E. 6th Street) as part of the Red Gorilla Music Fest' "Gorilla In The Room" Hip-Hop Showcase, presented by AVJ Records, Mindzai Creative Studios and AtlantaUrbanMix.com. Laws will be on-stage at Midnight.
Finally, on Saturday, March 20, 2010, Laws will grace the stage at the "Hustle & Flow Invasion" presented by Grand Hustle and Creative Control. His performance at 9:00pm CDT.
