Billboard Music Charts, a global music industry bible, places a "bullet" next to any song or album that has gotten a higher ranking since the last chart came out. It strongly stands for excellence at a higher degree. For Carmine Gotti, his life is about to do just that, as he places a bullet in the game of life to soar to unprecedented heights. As the 23-year old stands now as a different man compared to the 17 year old teenager we watched lovingly on A&E's Growing Up Gotti, he has a whole new world ready for his audience to see. The charm and charisma that Carmine Gotti has always possessed remains evident, but as five years have passed since the show, a lot has changed within him.  A little more swagger and a suave demeanor defines him now, along with more determination and heart than ever.
"I know I'm still a young man, but I've already been fortunate enough to have lived a lifetime of incredible experiences that will allow me to reach my goals in life," Carmine recounts with an air of confidence and an accent of accomplishment. Those goals include becoming an accomplished recording artist, with musical and artistic influences not only from his family and his travels, but also from R&B, pop, and house music as well. "To be honest, I always knew this is what I'd be doing, and I'm finally ready to share my experiences with my fans in lyrical form."
Now all grown up, the grandson of notorious crime boss John Gotti, has a legacy to make on his own now, along with keeping his own family's legacy at heart. His outlook on life is one of prestige; valuing the finer things in life while still being down to earth and real with those around him. As he steps into his own, his highly anticipated debut album drops in early Spring 2010, which will prove to be a culmination of his unstoppable drive and effort. The tentatively self titled album, Carmine Gotti, is a compilation of infectious club anthems and pop anecdotes that chronicle Carmine's untold story with swagger, smoothness and style. Under the direction of legendary hip hop executive Darrin "Dee" Dean, who has launched the careers of rap luminaries Eve¸ DMX and The Lox, Carmine is set for musical success under Dean's newest imprint, Left Field Productions. Most recently, Carmine is working with Dee's protégé and nephew, hit-making producer Swizz Beatz. The two have been recently spending time in the studio together, churning out infectious pop tracks and catchy rhythms that will be among the first to comprise Carmine's debut album, Carmine Gotti. And it doesn't stop there. Explosive collaborations with the likes of Timbaland, Tony Sunshine and Chris Brown are in the works as well. With the upbeat club single, "Jealous" and "Love", a slower soulful track, Carmine is revealing a side never seen before.
The native New Yorker reflects on his innate passion for his craft, "Music is a part of who I am. My whole life I've been surrounded by incredible, artistic things that have been a tremendous part of my lineage and my culture, from Michelangelo to Da Vinci and everything in between, but I still believe that music is the greatest art form. The only thing more powerful than supporting something is contributing to it. Music has given me so much, and now it's time for me to give back." Armed with his already robust fan base and the unyielding support of his family, Carmine is poised to take the industry by storm.
With his musical dreams well on his way into becoming reality, Carmine is not limiting himself to just that. "As dedicated as I am to my music, modeling and acting are other fields I am pursuing as well," Carmine boasts. As this Italian-American conquers the world with flavor, style and persistence, the world awaits patiently to witness the rise of another Gotti.
