ASYLUM/WARNER BROS ARTISTS THE REJ3CTZ PREMIERE “I’M FITTED” VIDEO AND SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT WITH THE NEW BOYZ

Los Angeles, CA (March 17, 2010) –Asylum / Warner Bros recording artists theREJ3CTZ, also known as the pioneers of Los Angeles' Jerk music movement, have released the video for "I'm Fitted" off their forthcoming mixtape that offers a glimpse into the Rej3ctz lifestyle. REJ3CTZ group members MoWii, PeeW33 and Bounc3 created the signature footwork dance move known as "The Reject" or "The Reject Stomp," which became the foundation for the dance style now recognizable as "Jerkin" and represents a new movement on the West Coast and beyond. They gained radio airplay locally in Los Angeleswith "Code Red" produced by Seven Aurelius (best known for his work with Diddy, Ja-Rule,Ashanti, J. Lo, and Making the Band) and have inspired many young groups and artists in the current Jerk scene. The video also sets the record straight between REJ3CTZ and New Boyz on the origin of the dance now known across the world and the underground culture as "Jerk."

The REJ3CTZ are from inner city Los Angeles, South Central, Compton and Inglewood, and are three unique characters creating music that fuses different genres of Jerk/hip-hop, pop/urban and dance. Gearing up for the release of their first radio single, REJ3CTZ have been steadily performing at both underground clubs and Hollywood hotspots like the legendary Roxy on the Sunset Strip. REJ3CTZ have opened for pop star Chris Brown on his Fan Appreciation Tour and performed at special events including Power 106 radio personality Yesi Ortiz's "Yesi's Lounge" with Sheikh Shoes, the NAACP ACT-SO Youth Organization kickoff, and judged for Los Angeles radio station KJLH's Jerkin Contest at Crenshaw Mall. REJ3CTZ have also appeared in the Pespi Music "Mic Pass"segment, multiple videos including Chris Brown "Transform Ya," Warner Bros labelmatesNew Boyz debut video "You're A Jerk," and brought jerkin' to pop icon Madonna's"Celebration" video. In February 2010, REJ3CTZ were honored at the 2nd Annual E-World Music Awards which recognizes emerging artists in the digital world.

Far beyond Jerkin', REJ3CTZ are emerging as its own movement, well on its way to creating a new school L.A. culture through feel-good music that breaks down barriers and stereotypes. Up next REJ3CTZ will be introducing its sound on a new mixtape called "The Funktion" and are currently recording with top producers for their highly anticipated debut album on Asylum/Warner Bros.
