No Stranger to the Spotlight, Former Model 'B-Shel' Successfully Segues to Music

La Mirada, CA, February 26, 2010 — Legendary Media Group Inc. B-Shel, born Brandon Shelby, hails from West Covina, CA. The 26-year-old Puerto Rican/African-American stunner is no stranger to the spotlight, with a Hollywood-esque career that started when he was just seven years old.

As a child, Brandon's looks launched him on a modeling career that would lead to his being recognized by elite modeling agency, Ford Models. In 1997, Brandon won a model-of-the-year award, through Ford – at the time, he was only thirteen. The same year, Brandon's new love started to shine through – he began to write music.

The model-of-the-year win landed Brandon scholarships and a modeling opportunity with fashion designer Karl Kani, dubbed "The Godfather of Urban Fashion". Brandon also appeared in print ad campaigns for footwear giant, SKECHERS. With the success of his modeling career under his belt, Brandon went on to explore acting and landed several commercials.

As his career and focus shifted to the music industry, Brandon spent the next several years of his life almost entirely devoted to the art. After completing high school and three years of college, Brandon decided to pursue his musical ambition in full. His love for hip-hop and R&B, landed him a job with High Desert Broadcasting, where he was a DJ for two FM stations, KMIX 106.3 and News Talk 1440.

Word about Brandon had started to spread in the music industry, at which point he was given the stage name of "B-Shel". With this new persona, came another successful venutre for the young artist – he secured opening gigs for such names Ashanti, Destiny's Child, Jon B., and Jaheim, just to name a few. B-Shel's artistry in his genre has also been recognized by rap industry veteran, Wendy Day.

B-Shel has won over fans and experienced industry insiders with his polish and professionalism, which has opend up opportunities for him to perform at gospel events with artists such as Tonex, Zie'l, Angie Stone, 2Face, Nick Cannon and Marvin Sapp.

American Royal Arts Releases “Fight of the Century” Artwork Signed by Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier

Boca Raton, FL, February 25, 2010 — It was almost 39 years ago that the ''Fight of the Century'' took place between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. American Royal Arts is now offering hand-signed limited edition artwork featuring one of the most famous images from this historic event signed by both Ali and Smokin' Joe, announced company President Jerry Gladstone.

Boxing promoters called the bout between both undefeated Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier that took place on March 8, 1971, at New York's Madison Square Garden ''The Fight of the Century.'' The image shows Ali, light on his feet, escaping one of Frazier's mighty left hooks. The officials called the fight after the 14th round, declaring Frazier the winner. The two would meet two more times.

The signed canvas fine art edition, measures 30" x 40" and is limited to only 30 pieces. Each is individually hand-numbered and framed using museum quality framing. FIRST NEW VIDEO FROM GORILLAZ TO DEBUT ON YOUTUBE

Plastic Beach 2010 – "Stylo" the first music video from the Gorillaz' forthcoming album Plastic Beach is due to premiere globally on YouTube at 5am GMT on March 2nd, 2010.

The video follows Gorillaz bass playing demigod Murdoc Niccals through a dangerous trip to the mainland from his new home on Plastic Beach – the namesake of the new record. Something goes badly wrong and Murdoc, guitarist/Cyborg Noodle and vocalist 2D end up in a high speed car chase with a local cop and an unknown assailant. Cyborg Noodle's circuits start failing and 2D fears for their lives as the gun toting bounty hunter draws ever closer…

Mighty Murdoc remembers, "Someone was chasing me through the desert! Luckily I had my camera crew following me and they captured it all on film, so I've cut it up and stuck it back together for my Stylo video! That'll learn me not to leave the safe, toxic, isolated haven of Plastic Beach…"

DA’ HITMAN PRESENTS NUCCI REYO “THE CRAZIES”

DALLAS, TX – February 26, 2010 – Da' Hitman has collaborated with New Jersey rapper Nucci Reyo to release the highly anticipated "The Crazies" mixtape.  "The Crazies" features production from an array of talented producers; including Lazy K, Fame, Elete, Roc, Killmore, and more.  What separates this from the countless mixtapes available is the lyrical content and message delivered by Nucci Reyo.

Although the title of the mixtape stirs visions of the like-titled movie, Nucci Reyo has incorporated a message within the body of the music that very few rap artists dare to attempt.  Nucci proclaims his love for God with a funky blend of beats and rhymes.  In the lead song "Homies in Hell" Nucci describes the death of his friend and the impending journey to Hell his friend must suffer for living a life of sin and ignoring God.  "Are U Satisfied" also serves a healthy does of reality and forces the listener to ask themselves if the life they're living is really enough.   The titles of the songs are a perfect depiction of the content with "Drag Me 2 Hell", "Is That Real 2 U", Fighting 4 My Soul", etc.

Iconic South Beach Hosts Red Bull Art of Can Miami Exhibit Featuring Forty-Seven Original Works of Art on Display March 3-14

MIAMI, Feb. 26 — Heads will turn along Ocean Drive in South Beach as the Red Bull Art of Can exhibit opens March 3-14, showcasing an array of original artwork in a variety of mediums. The 47-piece collection includes an eight-foot tall Egyptian wall with hieroglyphics, a delicately designed couture gown and a creation that must have been influenced by a Faberge Egg. Red Bull Art of Can challenges artists to create art with, or inspired by Red Bull Energy Drink, Red Bull Sugarfree and Red Bull Cola cans. The nationwide search for creativity invited innovative artists, both professional and amateur, to submit their designs for consideration in the ninth exhibition of its kind in the US. The number of cans utilized in the artwork ranged from one to thousands! The featured artists are creative individuals from all backgrounds, ages and occupations – from art students to fashion designers and advertising executives to educators.

The top three artists will be announced during the private gala on March 3rd which will be hosted by the fabulous Elaine Lancaster and the evening will boast couture fashion by Project Runway alumni, Mychael Knight.

Vibrantly filled with art deco design, nightlife, fashion and celebrities, Miami is the ideal host city for Red Bull Art of Can. Jeremy Chestler, executive director of ARTCENTER/SOUTH FLORIDA has been selected to curate the public exhibition which will take place in a one of a kind gallery installation created specifically to house this event.

CRITIC'S CHOICE

A prominent panel of judges was selected to review the wide array of submissions to determine which pieces earned a coveted pedestal in the exhibition. Their collective decision was based on the overall creativity, execution and construction of each piece. This distinguished panel of judges includes:
