ALYSON GREENFIELD LAUNCHES “DEAR LILITH FAIR 2010″

New York, NY — February 3, 2010 — Singer/Songwriter Alyson Greenfield is putting her best blog forward in hopes of getting a slot on the 2010 Lilith Fair line up.

Already recognized by Terry McBride, Co-Founder of Lilith Fair, Greenfield posts new content often including free MP3s and anecdotes relating to Lilith Fair.

Greenfield regularly posts songs she writes and records in her home studio including, "Glitz and Glamour," a song about her time working as part of Madonna's entourage; "Captain Planet," a song about the 90's environmental cartoon superhero;  "Happy New Year Lilith Fair," a dance track written specifically to Lilith Fair; a cover of Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise" on a glockenspiel; and a rare at home performance of she and Grammy Award Winning Songwriter Dave Merenda (Sarah McLachlan's "I Will Remember You") singing "I Will Remember You."

Greenfield says, "For an emerging feminist singer/songwriter, there is nothing bigger than the return of Lilith Fair.  I'm using the blog as a platform to show why I believe I would not only fit in with the line up, but add something to it as well."

Greenfield has been recognized by Paste, Relix, Beyond Race, The Deli, Beatcrave, Fox Television, and Rubyfruit Radio (SPIN's Essential Mix).  Her most recent release, "Tuscaloosa," was engineered by Denise Barbarita (Mary J. Blige, David Byrne) and features Jason Mercer (Ani DiFranco, Ron Sexsmith) on bass.
