(Tampa, Fl) – After taking over central Florida and the internet with his latest mixtape hosted by DJ Smallz, "Your Future Favorite Rapper," The Justice League, in conjunction with Warner Bros., ink a landmark deal with Tampa based MC, Laws, and prepare for his first official release of 2010.
Laws, a quick-witted MC out of Spring Hill, Fl, has established an enormous fan-base over the past two years, making him a staple in central Florida hip-hop.His mixtape project "Your Future Favorite Rapper," released earlier this year, was hosted and highly endorsed by the legendary DJ Smallz.
The promotional mixtape entitled "Yesterday's Future," which is well underway and nearing completion, is set to be the first release after the signing and will feature re-imaginings of Paul McCartney album cuts, produced by the grammy award-winning  J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League as well as other notable producers including L.A. the Craftzman and Feb 9.
Laws has, to date, rocked stages alongside hip-hop heavyweights such as KRS One, MF Doom, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang, and DJ Premier. The key to his success has been a potent brand of music that celebrates the essence of lyricism and brings back the true spirit of hip-hop to his rapidly growing fanbase.
"Being signed gives me the freedom to do what I've always loved to do. I've always felt like a full time musician, but now it's official, like a wedding band after an engagement," says Laws.  Now Laws "has a machine" behind his project to take the existing momentum he has created for himself, and to propel it  forward to the next level of his career.
ABOUT THE J.U.S.T.I.C.E. LEAGUE
Since they first appeared on the nationwide music scene back in 2005, landing their first major placement on Young Jeezy's album "Thug Motivation 101", The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League has become one of the most celebrated names in music production today. The Grammy Award winning production trio, made up of Kenny "Barto" Bartolomei, Rook and Colione have enjoyed placements with some of the biggest names in music including Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, Toni Braxton, Young Jeezy, Fabolous, T-Pain, Rick Ross, Ludacris and The Game. The group works with current legends in the industry as well as future stars and continue to deliver music that pushes the boundaries of production farther with each hit. As if gold, platinum and multi-platinum plaques weren't enough, the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League brand has now expanded by furthering itself as a label in addition to its present status as a production team. Laws is one of the first signees to the League as a label and together, the two will continue to push the boundaries of music, ultimately re-defining hip-hop as we know it.
