Grammy Nominated Recording Artist Trey Songz Brings “Songz 4 Peace” to Brooklyn Center High School in Minnesota

7-12th Graders in Minnesota will receive an early Christmas gift when Trey Songz pays a special visit to introduce his non-violent youth initiative.

Overview: On Thursday December 17, 2009 Brooklyn Center High School students in Minnesota will receive words of encouragement from Grammy Nominated recording artist Trey Songz and well known Philanthropist & Author of "Gangster With A Heart of Gold" Noonie G. The two will lead a panel discussion along with assistance from 12 year NBA vet & CEO of Hudson Records, Troy Hudson, Songz 4 Peace sponsor Alex Tievy of LGND Entertainment, Youth Mentor/Motivational Speaker Coach Morris and Glenn Stubbs. The panel will be moderated by Trey Songz DJ and former radio personality from 106.3 in Richmond VA, DJ Foot. There will also be special prize giveaways and gift bags for students in attendance. ABOUT SONGZ FOR PEACE: Songz 4 Peace is a non violent youth initiative formed by Chicago Philanthropist/Author Noonie G & Grammy Nominated Recording Artist Trey Songz. The birth of Songz 4 Peace took place in Chicago Illinois at Lindblom High School on August 5, 2008. The purpose is to educate and empower urban youth as well as influence them to make wiser decisions and utilize the options available to them. Since its launch, Songz 4 Peace has been activated in Richmond VA at Thomas Jefferson High School and has hosted several youth empowerment engagements led by Trey Songz and his team.
