NEW YORK, NY November  5, 2009—-ROZ Music is in the building and the dynamic forces behind the hit single "Teach Me How To Jerk" are now ready to show what their whole movement encompasses.  Hitting the streets on Thursday, November 5th with the new street album, ROZ Music Entertainment Presents Audio Push: The Soundcheck Mixtape, the project is geared to showcase the versatile lyrical ability of the dynamic duo of Octane and Price Tag, who comprise the highly touted and exciting AUDIO PUSH with the impeccable production of Kadis & Sean.
The smash album features certified dance floor bangers like "Hey There Hater" and "Drop It Low" over spaced out gritty beats that'll rock from the hood to the 'burbs.  Clearly a divide from the Jerk Movement they've come to conquer, Audio Push are equipped with an arsenal when it comes to moving the crowd.  Making a bold statement with the release of The Soundcheck Mixtape on their Roz Music label, as well as being the Executive Producers behind Audio Push, Sean states,
"It's going to showcase A.P.'s versatility and let people know their range and an array of our sounds. We got a rock record on this tape, R&B, straight Hip-Hop, Pop and street/club records. We also have some real life records.  It's basically a preparation of what's to come on their debut CD. It also showcases what Kadis and I are capable of and the talent we have as producers and what we can do as a company.  In particular, the Mix Tape projects the moves that our company can make in terms of branding and developing an artist."
The Soundcheck also features R&B heavyweights like Brandy and soon to be vocal phenomenon like Steph Jones.  Ms. Norwood, who is also in the lab working with Kadis & Sean, lends her talents to the swag driving "Aviator" as the rapping duo Octane and Price Tag of Audio Push let you know they have no plans of touching the ground anytime soon.
If rocking crowds and inciting a new dance craze wasn't enough, the title track, The Soundcheck also reaches deeper into the L.A. tandem that make it clear that they will leave you in astonishment if you question their mic skills. On the album's title cut they spit: "We came from battle rapping and clapping the gats and cats attacking us and mad at us for doing what you couldn't/ But now backing us and clapping for us/ All I see is people bandwagon us because they now seeing what they should've."
Speaking of the foretelling track, Price Tag says, "We're talking about our life and basically introducing the people to us.   Having them feel us from where we come from and everything we go through.  It's real spitting.  It's not any type of watered down lyrical content. People will definitely respect it and see that we're a problem. We're not just a fad and people will see that we really rap."
Riding with a theme of touching the stars, "Galactic" will further launch ROZ Music's brand while "Up & Down" incites the Hip-Hop infused R&B mood as they cleverly spit game to the ladies.  Putting their label on the map as well as making their Coast a birth place for new music, Octane adds,
"Not only are we lyricists but we're not the typical artists.  When people think California, they either think jerking or they think gangster rap and there's other things that we do and that's really where the music is going to speak.  We're still young kids but there are other things that young kids in rap can do out here.  The music is going to show a whole other side of California and a whole other side of young people, period.  So that's what's going to separate us from everybody pretty much."
With their highly anticipated debut dropping next year on Geffen/ Interscope, The Soundcheck Mixtape  is a look into who will be running the music industry in the near future.  From a production and artist standpoint, ROZ Music will undoubtedly be a force and this is just the first ripple in the tidal wave that's soon to follow.
Sitting grounded on the peak of superstardom, Kadis adds, "I think Sean and I have the ability to seek out and understand what it takes to make a star, make a hit record and bring an artist from jerking all the way to the mainstream where people will respect that artist from the visual to the music. So this mixtape is going to separate us and our company from most other producers and most other companies out there."
