This is the first time the Red Bull BC One championships have landed on American soil which means fresh blood is coming in on the scene. Four American b-boys are in this year's line-up that could easily snatch the prize. Kid Glyde, son of Glyde from the Dynamic Rockers, has been dancing since the age of 3 and now represents the crew's second generation with help from his mentor Kid Freeze. Thesis from Seattle, WA, Morris of Sacramento, CA and Cloud from Los Angeles, CA are holding down all corners of the west coast and could end up being the silent but deadly competition.
This year, there are two returning Red Bull BC One champions in the mix. Wing from Korea (Paris -2008) and Lilou of France (Berlin- 2005) could end up being the double threat.
Kolobak of the Ukraine and Russia will be wearing two hats and will represent both countries. This is a first for the competition.
The thriving b-boy scenes in countries such as Germany, Japan, Holland, Korea and France make it hard to pinpoint who the favorite will be as the talent coming from Brazil, Russia, Venezuela and Portugal are a force to be reckoned with.
