New York, NY, Friday, October, 16 2009 – (I.M.G)- Brooklyn based lifestyle agency, Imperial Marketing Group (I.M.G.) will launch their new online magazine FRSHPulp on Thursday, Nov. 5.
Originally a music showcase for new artists entitled FRSHPulp Live, the company quickly decided to start a blog and newsletter to compliment the series and to highlight everything "fresh" from music, to people, places, events, fashion, and more. Now FRSHPulp and FRSHPulp Live are getting ready to launch to a whole new level with a lot in-store for the next few years.
"Our tag-line for the magazine is "Don't Get Stale B." And what that means is never let your life get stale. Challenge yourself. Always approach everything with passion and purpose," says I.M.G. Co-founder Anastasia Wright. Ms. Wright along with business partner Karsten Venna started I.M.G in 2008 while still in college. "Being entrepreneurs, we know and have had the opportunity to meet a lot of great people who live amazing, passionate lives. Though they are great for a reason, you don't have to be of Jay-Z, Oprah or Bill Gates status to inspire people. Personally, I'm inspired by the people I work with and come into contact with everyday. We wanted to capture that and package it in a dope way for our audience."
And who is FRSHPulp's audience? "Our audience is global. They are generally between the ages of 15 and 35, gifted and motivated. They are our future executives and professionals. Our future consumers. They are go-getters, trend setters and passionate about what they do. They want information. They want access. And they want it Now. They are the future."
FRSHPulp.com will launch with five sections: ftured, sndz, hstle, threadz and evntz. Each section representing one of the 5 elements of freshness: people, music, fashion, career x money management and events. The magazines focus will be on the people that make business and industry go round', and will launch with featured interviews from Anslem Samuel, Meka Udoh of 2DopeBoyz.com, Kareem Black, DJ Get Live, Nandi Forbes of Bengi Jeans Co., TreVZ of The New Pop, Annissa Moxam, Recruiter at Universal Music Group, and Anthony Hudson, Associate at Merrill Lynch just to name a few.
"FRSHPulp wants to know the artists, the promoters, the producers, the managers, the pattern makers, the creative directors, the publicists, the content managers, the brand managers, the merchandising coordinators, the finance associates, the personal bankers, the lawyers, the accountants, the journalists, the program directors, the minds behind the products, the music, the fashion and business in general. And we want to know about their journey and what drives them. It's important for people, audiences, and consumers to not only be entertained but to be informed. Information is power and having access is priceless."
The official launch party for FRSHPulp.com will be at White Rabbit on Thursday, Nov. 5 in partnership with ILL Banger Thursdaze. Details will be revealed at a later date.
