The Digital Revolution Has Begun

Los Angeles, Ca Oct 30, 2009: Young Dre the Truth is creating major attention in the Music Industry with UpCode USA new partnership

Just as Hip-Hop fans had began to look toward the East for rap lyrics with messages, along comes 'Young Dre the Truth" brings the West Coast back on the map. EA's Madden game franchise knew exactly what they were doing when they signed Young Dre to their music label Artwerk Music.

Young Dre recorded the song "Working", with the band Good Charlotte for Madden 09', as well as collaborating with Snoop Dog on the song "Cheah-Bah" which is the main track on EA Madden Fight Night Round 4. When Young Dre was asked about the theme of the song Cheah-Bah, he responded with – "'Cheah Bah' is not a dance, it's just about positive energy and a new movement." Now with my new distribution platform I can connect all my fans directly to me. Young Dre stated just in 2 days we have had over 300,000 downloads just from the song "Tell Them I Did It" all coming from Japan, Germany, Sweden, US, The Netherlands, and the UK. I couldn't believe the demand for my music. I was reading comments all over the web that people wanted and was anticipating my album it made me think. Even on you tube thousands of people was leaving comments telling me that I was the best rapper. Young Dre also stated now he will take a different approach and look to new media to touch his fan base and interact with them.

Young Dre the Truth is also on NBA Live 2010 game, which features his remix of "All Eyes on Me", with 2Pac Shakur. Which was released on October 27th, 2009, the buzz has already hit the pipelines and radio is anxiously anticipating its debut.

Young Dre The Truth has also announced that his label KC3 Monumental has struck a deal with Upcode a new music distribution company which delivers music from 2d bar codes and gives artist global distribution by using UpCode. With UpCode now Young Dre can deliver his music to his fans from billboards, magazines, and through his music video including of his social network pages. UpCode has already made much noise with Universal Music Group and Sony BMG in Latin Amercia and proved there is a new way for music distribution and a demand without being in a store or sitting in front a computer. Now UpCode is in North America and Young Dre is the star and one of first to go full fledge with the new platform.
Jerald Cavitt CEO of UpCode USA stated we are very excited to start our new music division. We have put a'lot of resources into Young Dre The Truth including new marketing strategies and a whole new distribution method. Toni Braxton Signs With Atlantic; New Single, “Yesterday,” Available Now on Official Website

Label Debut Sees Collaborations With Star-Studded Array of Producers and Special Guests; Eagerly Awaited Album Due in February 2010

Oct 30, 2009, NEW YORK, NY–(Marketwire – October 30, 2009) – Atlantic Records is proud to announce the addition of legendary R&B superstar Toni Braxton to its storied roster. The multiple Grammy Award-winning singer will unveil her hugely anticipated label debut on February 2nd, 2010.

"Atlantic Records has a rich heritage of great soul voices, from Ray Charles to Aretha Franklin, from Otis Redding to Roberta Flack," said Atlantic Chairman/CEO Craig Kallman. "Last year, we had the rare opportunity to bring another R&B icon into the Atlantic family, and for me it was an opportunity of a lifetime. Toni Braxton is not only one of the greatest voices of all time, but she is a charismatic superstar with an incredible list of achievements. She has sold over 40 million records worldwide, has had 15 Top Ten Billboard hits, earned six Grammy Awards, and the list goes on and on. Above all, there has always been that fantastic voice, filled with passion and beauty and soul. I believe that Toni has made the most spectacular album. It's the culmination of everything that has come before… a brilliant reflection of her experiences in music and in life. It's the start of an exciting new chapter — one which all of us at Atlantic are so very proud to be part of."

"Yesterday," the first single from the album, is currently on sale at Braxton's official home online, www.tonibraxton.com. A companion video — directed by famed filmmaker Bille Woodruff, known for such classic Braxton clips as "Un-Break My Heart" and "He Wasn't Man Enough" — was filmed earlier this month in Los Angeles and is currently in post-production with a premiere date to be announced later.

The as-yet-untitled album looks to be Toni's most powerful and personal musical statement to date. Braxton personally chose to collaborate with a veritable who's-who of red-hot producers and songwriters, including Frank E (Madonna, T.I., Plies, Flo Rida), Steve Mac (Leona Lewis, Il Divo), Lucas Secon (Britney Spears, The Pussycat Dolls), Harvey Mason & Oak (Chris Brown, Joe, Mario), Troy Taylor (Trey Songz, Kevin Lyttle), Dapo Torimiro (John Legend, David Archuletta, Brandy), and David Foster (Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion). What's more, the album features a guest appearance from Toni's new Atlantic labelmate, R&B/hip-hop sensation Trey Songz, who lends his distinctive vocal stylings to the aforementioned single, "Yesterday."

This past weekend saw Braxton singing the National Anthem before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' NFL International Series game against the New England Patriots at London's Wembley Stadium, a rendition broadcast here in the US as part of CBS' The NFL Today's "Golden Anniversary 50th Year of the NFL" coverage. Toni is further scheduled to be the opening performance at the upcoming CENTRIC Presents: 2009 Soul Train Awards Show, taping next week at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The event will then premiere on both CENTRIC and BET in a special simulcast on Sunday, November 29th at 9:00 PM (check local listings).

Toni Braxton has been at the forefront of modern R&B and soul since her 1991 debut single, "Love Shoulda Brought You Home" (featured in the film, Boomerang). Her self-titled debut, which followed in 1993, proved a true pop phenomenon, earning 8x-platinum certification from the RIAA for sales in excess of 8 million. The album also saw Braxton receiving her first round of Grammy Awards, including "Best New Artist" and two "Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female" trophies, honoring the singles, "Another Sad Love Song" and "Breathe Again."

"SECRETS" arrived in 1997 and indelibly confirmed Toni's status as a true international superstar. The 8x-platinum certified collection spawned a string of major hit singles, including the #1 hits, "You're Makin' Me High" and "Un-Break My Heart." The latter track became an instant pop classic, topping Billboard's "Hot 100" for 11 consecutive weeks, while also dominating a variety of other charts around the world. "Un-Break My Heart" and "You're Makin' Me High" earned Braxton two more Grammy Awards, for "Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female" and "Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female," respectively.

Toni followed the stunning success of "SECRETS" by embarking on a further career as a stage actress. She drew rave reviews for her history-making turn as "Belle" in Disney's Beauty and the Beast — the first African-American woman to star in a Disney musical production.

Braxton's long-awaited third album, "THE HEAT," was released to worldwide acclaim in 2000. At year's end, Toni was named Billboard's "Top R&B/Hip-Hop Artist — Female," "Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album Artist – Female," "Top R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks Artist – Female," while the gold- certified, chart-topping smash, "He Wasn't Man Enough," brought home still another Grammy Award for "Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female."

In 2001, Toni made her big-screen debut in 2001's hit comedy, Kingdom Come, earning a BET Black Oscar for her performance. 2002's "MORE THAN A WOMAN" and 2005's "LIBRA" saw her continuing to expand her musical range of expression, while her 2006 collaboration with Il Divo, "The Time of Our Lives," was named the official anthem of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. That same year saw Toni making history once again, this time with Toni Braxton: Revealed, her blockbuster stage show at Las Vegas' Flamingo Hotel & Casino. Though initially slated for a brief three-month run, the show proved such a success that it was ultimately extended through mid-2008.

As if all that weren't enough, Braxton was also among the top competitors on the 2008 season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. She followed the reality series' success by appearing in the "Dancing with the Stars – The Tour 2008/2009" roadshow, which played to sold-out arenas across the country.

Shepard Fairey Publicly Unveils a New Art Installation Outside the Levi’s(R) Times Square Flagship Store

Special installation commemorates the launch of Obey x Levi's(R), a limited-edition clothing collection jointly designed by Fairey, OBEY Clothing and the Levi's(R) Brand

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ — To commemorate the launch of the new, limited-edition Obey x Levi's® apparel collection — a line of street-inspired menswear styles, co-designed by street artist, Shepard Fairey, his OBEY Clothing collection and the Levi's® Brand — the artist unveiled a special, public art installation last night in front of the Levi's® Store in Times Square. Executed on Military Island, in the heart of one of the world's busiest intersections, this special event offered the public a rare, inside view of the acclaimed street artist's unique process. The finished piece is a layered collage of varying imagery, simultaneously addressing issues that range from global warming to the power of propaganda to influence. To further mark the occasion, Fairey also created a series of four new poster designs and immediately following the mural's unveiling, the artist signed museum-quality reproductions of these new works for fans who had eagerly lined up outside the denim leader's Times Square store. The publicly-executed mural unveiled last night was later affixed to the outside facade of the neighboring Levi's® Store location and measures approximately 7.5 feet high x 24 feet wide. This work is a part of a much larger Fairey-developed mural adorning the Times Square store's exterior that is 68 feet in total length and wraps around the corner of Broadway onto 44th Street. The work will be displayed outside of the Levi's® Store in Times Square through November 5, at which point it will be dismantled and removed from public view.

On teaming with Levi's® Jeanswear and the newly introduced poster series, Fairey offered, "I've always felt that keeping my art bold, simple and refined was a way to cut through the clutter, and it's a formula that Levi's® has been using for decades that keeps them accessible and populist yet stylish and relevant. The posters I created for Levi's® are returns to the roots of my style: one side with an industrial propaganda poster feel that connects with the heritage of Levi's® as a brand for workers, and the reverse side reflecting my other biggest influence, punk rock, and the connection of Levi's® to punk and rock in general."

"Shepard Fairey is a groundbreaking innovator who has changed the way art is perceived and consumed in our world today. His revolutionary work uniquely reflects the optimistic, pioneering spirit of the Levi's® brand, making Obey x Levi's® a truly authentic collaboration," said Doug Sweeny, vice president of Marketing for the Levi's® brand. "As fans and loyal supporters of Shepard's pioneering art, we are proud to introduce this special clothing collection rooted in Shepard's favorite Levi's® styles."

A graduate of the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, Shepard Fairey was catapulted to super stardom last year when his "Hope" poster became the predominant image of President Obama's successful campaign. But it was Fairey's "Obey" guerilla art campaign that first gained mass attention nearly a decade ago. His now infamous "Obey" images of Worldwide Wrestling Federation star Andre the Giant continue to appear on public canvases worldwide today and inspired Fairey to create OBEY Clothing – a collection of street and skate-inspired apparel he introduced in 2001.

Fairey's unique art and view of the world captured the attention of many fans at Levi's® and in 2002, the brand proudly sponsored Authentik – one of Fairey's first art shows. The show, which was held at the Levi's® Vortex Gallery in the San Francisco Levi's® Store, marked the beginning of the relationship between Fairey and his favorite denim brand. Since then, there have been several collaborative projects including a series of one-of-a-kind "Obey" 501® jean art pieces, a timeline portrait collection of punk and rap music trailblazers, a silk-screened image of Levi Strauss that Fairey created to pay homage to Levi's® jeans' founder and the sponsorship of Fairey's first-ever, career retrospective museum exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston.

The launch of the Obey x Levi's® collection is the latest result of the ongoing collaborative relationship between Levi's® and Fairey. The line consists of a tightly-edited assortment of eight essential menswear pieces that showcase fits, finishes, rips, patches and design details selected by Fairey and inspired by his personal collection of Levi's® denim. Each piece is a hand-customized original that is worn-in to evoke the look and feel of one's favorite pair of jeans. Punctuated by "spray paint" drip details, stenciled art imagery, pins and "wear and repair" finishing touches, the collection is replete with exclusive branding details including an "Obey" Giant tab-device that lives alongside the iconic Levi's® Red Tab and a "Two-Horse" rear waistband patch that also includes a stylized "Obey" Giant face.

The highly-collectible Obey x Levi's® capsule collection is carried exclusively at select Levi's® Store locations in New York City, San Francisco, Chicago and Santa Monica and at www.levi.com. A limited number of pieces are also available at www.obeyclothing.com. Now on sale, the collection ranges in price from $34.50 to $148. The series of four limited-edition Shepard Fairey posters will be given away as a free gift, while supplies last, with the purchase of any item from the Obey x Levi's® collection in the following Levi's® Store locations: Times Square and Soho in New York City, Union Square in San Francisco, Santa Monica and Chicago. The front side of each of the four double-sided posters features artwork that exists as a stand-alone piece. The reverse side of each poster also includes one piece of an oversized mural image specially designed by Fairey. When all four posters are reversed and laid out together, the larger mural image is then fully revealed.

About OBEY Clothing

OBEY Clothing, launched in 2001, was founded as an extension of Shepard Fairey's Obey art campaign. Melding styles and influences of Shepard, OBEY Clothing reflects a changing landscape of style by taking cues from classic work wear to more forward design as well as cultural or geographic movements and personal experience. Heavily impacted by music such as classic rock, hip hop and punk in addition to pop culture references, political and anti war imagery, there is a lot for the designers to pull inspiration from and create diversity in style.

Since its inception, OBEY Clothing has quietly become an underground success by transitioning Shepard's iconic poster art into a legitimate, respected clothing label.

Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Vol. 100 is jam packed with exclusives from artists such as: Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy, Tone Trump, Jay-Z, Keri Hilson, Timbaland, Illaj, 50 Cent, Sic Osyrus, Nino Bless, Nickelus F, Wordsmith, AKIR, Miz, AC, NYOil, St. Laz and many more. The mixtape is available for free download at www.Coast2CoastMixtapes.com

"This mixtape is a culmination of all the work we have done in the past to build up our mixtape empire," says Lil Fats, Owner/CEO of Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes, "I called on DJ Drama to host the mixtape because he is easily known as the biggest and best mixtape host in the game. I reached out to Noodles to mix the tape because of his skills on the turntables and long history that we have. With those two DJs involved, nothing could go wrong with this mixtape."

With 100 official Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes under their belt, Coast 2 Coast wastes no time moving on to the next project as they prepare to release the Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Vol. 101 early next week. Lil Fats explains, "We want to take the mixtape game to the next level, after 100 volumes hosted by major artists there's nothing to do but take it even further with bigger hosts, better DJs and more real exclusive tracks from the artists that the people want to hear."
