WE ALL WE GOT is pushing the third edition on Friday August 14th with Turf Talk headlining the independent artist showcase at an exciting new San Francisco venue. This new event offers a platform for emerging independent artists to be seen and industry creatives to connect with talent. Presented by Inhouse Talent and hosted by Revolutionary Poet Sellassie, WE ALL WE GOT is designed to expose interesting and determined artists, cultivate relationships, and build community among independents. At a beautiful, new Mission District venue, The Blue Macaw boasts a great stage, sound system, mezzanine, lounge area and location.

Advocates of independent music, Inhouse Talent's Gina Gallo and Sellassie see the opportunity to contribute to the local arts community among ambitious, forthcoming artists. Hip Hop artist Sellassie states, "We are the Future" and realizes the vast talent here in the Bay Area. "Local promoters bring in all these other rappers from all over the country for shows and have stars right here in the Bay."

2009 West Coast Hip Hop Award receipant and event host, Sellassie is shining as a leading progressive voice in Bay Hip Hop. With a debut release, I'm Tryin' to Make a Livin' Not a Killin', Sellassie explores socio-economic inequities, political injustices and the realities of ghetto life. With a fresh perspective and new sound, Sellassie is an alternative in today's hip-hop, proof that there are young black artists that can make music that is creative, street and smart. In the booming Bay Area Hip Hop scene, WE ALL WE GOT headliner, Turf Talk has achieved the championship belt. The man behind hits "Its ah Slumper" and "Sav Out" and his colab with The Federation on Hyphey is noted all around the region, even in New York. Turf Talk's previous CD Turf Talk Brings the hood Colabilation (Sic Wid It) has hits like "Two Piece" and "Turf Talk iz Back," a collab with E-40 that's being played in all the clubs. In fact, Turf Talk's cousin and mentor is E-40, a Vallejo hip hop pioneer who has spent more than a decade perfecting his own idiosyncratic version of California Gangsta Rap. Turf Talk admired the ambitions of his Northern Cali Family and had early aspirations to join the First Family of Rap. Inspired by the greats, Jessica "JS" Samiere and Courtney "Kiid Phresh" Oliver are LadyLyke, a hip hop/rap/classical r&b group. LadyLyke is a talented group, J is a lyricist, producer and writer that has written for L-Werd, Kel-C and more. Kiid Phresh makes her mark with flows and vocals and writes and produces her own music. LadyLyke have an original sound and J states, "Music is what feelings sound like, and Music defines me."

Stack a Million Records is an independent label coming up out of the Bay Area. The label specializes in Rap, Hip Hop and R&B music. The focus is to discover and bring hidden talent to the main stream in music. Stack a Million Records' T Bone has released The Golden State and Miller Boys Volume 1, which is available for purchase. Also be on the lookout for upcoming releases by YP, Napalm, Mar Mill and another T Bone album this year.

Ten Worlds blends raw east coast style with the kick back alternative west coast swagger. Their music is old school hip hop meets modern rebellion. Ten Worlds aims to kick off a movement of truth in order to attain world peace through many creative means, with hip hop being the dominant.

The Victory is a new artist that originally grew up in Chicago but made his way to the Bay Area–just one part of his life's journey that overall gave him passion for the people and the power of music. In his work he specifically utilizes the genre of hip hop and transforms it to make music that inspires and uplifts (as opposed to just degrading or promoting violence), while still maintaining the fresh beats and urban sound that makes this style so popular and relevant to the masses and the youth today. Uni=One, Verse=Song–Universe means One Song.
