Lucky 7 Records is continiously diversifying it's artist roster by signing the likes of N E MEANS, "The Godfather Of Bass" Uncle Robert Wilson and the latest talent Mexico's own DJ Blunt & Javu!  DJ Blunt & Javu also have secured a management deal with Lightening Entertainment Inc.
MC, DJ,  Producer, and On Air Personality at a local radio station in Monterey, You can't talk about the History of Mexican Hip Hop and not bring up his name a few times. Javu formed part of the biggest Spanish Hip Hop crew in Mexico called Artilleria Pesada, which you may know from the title of the 2nd Control Machete Album.
El Javu played a key roll on getting Hip Hop played on Mexican radio and breaking new and up coming artist. He opened the doors as the residential DJ to the first club in Mexico to be dedicated to Hip Hop music.
Javu was born on the streets of Monterrey, Mexico his barrio called La Madero he started rapping at 13 years old when he formed his first hip hop group called Funk Da Baztard he would later join Artilleria Pesada which consisted of members of Control Machete, Lingo Squad & Cartel de Santa Mexico's most influential and successful hip hop groups.
He also has shared the stage alongside Psycho Realm, El Pecador, Sick Symphonies, Street Platoon, Global City, Self Scientific, Spanky Loco, all From Los Ange les California, Lil Flip (Houston,Texas) Los Tetas (Chile), 7 Notas 7 Colores (Spain), Meswy (Spain), Ariana Puello (Spain) Grammy winner and one of the biggest name's in Spanish Rock Gustavo Cerati Ex Soda Stereo (Argentina) were Javu Freestyle with him in front of 20,000 people.
Today Javu forms part of a crew called Hydrogrificos alongside with DJ Blunt which they form in 2003 and have released 4 mixtapes called Desde el cerro de la silla vol, 1, 2 & 3 and Grifo International wich consist of original songs, freestyles and collabos with various artist from Mexico and all over the world.
The colabos they have recorded include artist from Los Angeles, Washington, Detroit, Texas, Miami, Chile, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Mexico, Germany & Finland.
DJ Blunt started DJ´ing in 1998 in his hometown Monterrey, Mexico in the year 2000 He started producing beats and also recording his mixtapes called Real Mixtape´s Vol 1 thru 5 something that no other DJ or Hip Hop group had done in Mexico, He put the Mixtape´s on the map, He also has DJ in the most famous Hip Hop club's in his city, Motel, Havana, Enzo, At Loft, and toured with the NBA all over Mexico.
In 2003 he teamed up with Monterrey´s Mexico best Mc Javu to formed Hydrogrificos Crew wich consist of Extremo a 17 year old MC & Big Ram Hailing from Houston Texas, DJ Blunt alongside Javu produced the mixtapes called desde el cerro de la silla vol.1, 2 & 3.
Do to the demand of his mixtape´s and the never ending Colabos they have recorded with artist from the United States and other parts of the world over their few years together Javu & DJ Blunt decided to put a new series of Mixtapes called Grifo International wich is hosted by Black Boy from the Black Walll Street this mixtape consist of original songs from Hydrogrificos Crew and a few selected songs from underground and famous rappers from the United States wich we like and think that are going to change the market in the US.
Not like some other DJ´S that only put famous rapper's on their mixtape´s or use the same song's that are playing on the radio,
He has also produced and recorded a lot of underground hip hop groups from his city and began promoting shows in his native country.
