(New York City, NY) July 21, 2009 – Renown Music Video Director and 2009 BET Director Of The Year Nominee, Rik Cordero will debut his second feature film at this year's HBO New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF) which celebrates its 10th Anniversary as the premier Latino Film Festival in the country. Inside A Change ignites the big screen on Thursday, July 30th 2009. "Inside A Change is a coming of age story about Chris Price(Ephraim Benton) who is about to go to jail for six months but before he leaves, he has to throw his mom a surprise birthday party while bringing his brothers together to be a family," said Cordero. "It's based on the life of a friend of mine who passed away in 2004 so it definitely hits close to home. With this movie, I have a chance to say what I have to say as a filmmaker and not just a music video director. I'm really proud of it."
