Minneapolis, MN, July 13th, 2009 --(PR.com) Minneapolis mic rocker Omaur Bliss announced today the Release Party and Show for his new project, Dirty v2.0, at First Avenue's historic 7th Street Entry, July 31st, 2009.
Dirty v2.0 the mix CD is the precursor to Bliss's third full-length album titled Dirty 3.0, to be released later this fall.
The show will feature dynamic performances by some of Bliss's running mates and established Twin Cities artists including New MC (Kanser), Yoni and Chris Clay.
Bliss will take the stage around midnight with a hour long set that will premiere music from Dirty 3.0. Bliss, a huge Prince fan, will channel Erotic City energy, by featuring go-go dancers on stage as he breathes life into Dirty 3.0.
Omaur Bliss released his self-titled debut in 2005 and has been a prominent artist in the upper Midwest music scene ever since. At the time, Minneapolis Music Journalist Chris Riemschneider described Bliss as the male version of Lauryn Hill due to his soulful singing and rapping talents.
Omac Montainya, Bliss's second album was about Bliss's take on the world and the music industry, in which Bliss succeeded in creating his own music genre. Dirty 3.0 will be Bliss's largest national release and will mark Bliss's interactive evolution from rapper to fully equipped artist of the digital era.
Like the different internet applications, Omaur Bliss's music has undergone an evolution. If you had to measure Bliss's evolution as an artist, you can start by comparing internet applications from the first application to what will become 3.0. Intense interaction is what true Bliss fans have grown to expect that from the pure Renaissance man.
