July 20, 2009 (St. Louis, MO) – - St. Louis emcee Ebony Eyez has announced today the release date of her newest mixtape entitled Nice Girlz Finish Last will be on August 19, 2009. Very few songs from the mixtape have been leaked to fans who have been anticipating its release.
When Ebony Eyez was asked why she titled it she said it was for two reasons "When you feel like you're nice as a female emcee you get overlooked, you know, when you bring more to the table than just sex. Wasn't like that back in the MC Lyte days. People can be intimidated by that and don't want to work with you." She continues, "The second reason is being nice as a person, people take your kindness for weakness and think they can walk over you or think that you're naive."
The mixtape will feature some of Ebony's  friends who are also nice with the mic including; Penelope Jones, Chocolate Tai, Moody Swing, Aloha, Murphy Lee and 12 year old Teiona who Ebony Eyez considers to be her protégé. Production on the album are from whom Ebony Eyez has already had a close rapport with like XP Muzik, JE Beats, Ali, Doe, Nonstop, Wyshmaster, Frizz, Rdot and Empact Music.
