Carolina rapper Derty Den was nominated in the category "Best Southern Rapper" at the 2009 Underground Music Awards to be held in August in New York City.
"To be nominated at Underground Music Awards is such a honor. It's a great feeling that the panelists think I'm deserving it and it shows I'm in great company. Winning the same award last year only makes me want it again," says Derty Den.
Urban Threshold's Underground Music Awards is a national award show created to acknowledge and honor the achievements and contributions of unsigned and independent artists within the urban music scene.
