Los Angeles– Jul 11, 2009 – Constance "ButtaCup" Reese Hit Broadway in the Comedy Play The Boychick Affair
Constance Reese better known as ButtCup is starring in the smash interactive comedy hit The Boychick Affair at the Times Square Arts Center in NYC! That's right, she steals the stage as Nechama Grossman in the Off-Broadway production, a role which she originated in the Los Angeles run of the show for two years. It was so successful in LA that she assistant directed the Florida production and now takes on a leading role and acts as a line producer in the New York City version. The show, which focuses on the comedic outlook of a dysfunctional family, comes with a full buffet meal and a night of amazing entertainment!
ButtaCup brings the Ethiopian born, Jewish raised, overtly intellectual, and undeniably educated role of the pretentious Nechama Grossman to life. She displays her dynamic sense of comedy in the 60% improv based show by completely allowing her character to fill the room with no apologies. She maintains an interesting combination of amazing comedic physicality based in realism and it becomes effortless to see why this early graduate from UCLA's School of Theater, Film, & Television has created so much buzz in such little time. This multi-talented young woman is definitely a force to be reckoned with and incredible to see in a live performance! So don't miss your opportunity because she's only there until the end of August and then it's off to her next project!
ButtaCup also stars in Friday at Dewayne's set to release on DVD 21st of July and a reality tv show slated to premiere in August Hype Underground TV. She currently works as an on-air television host and radio personality on Hype Underground, ButtaCup will be rejoining her other co-host on the radio after her Broadway run, which can be heard weekly every Thursday at 4p pst / 7p est on 92.5 KYHY
