An artist that is new to some and well known to others, Quazedelic has brought true elements of Funk and Hip-Hop to a new level with his solo album entitled, The Arrival 2012 (A.U.). The album stretches the limits, beyond the general scope of just rap.
Quazedelic is most known for his works with rapper Snoop Dogg and prominent funk legends like George Clinton and Bootsy Collins. However, the producer took a passenger seat to the very talented Georgia Anne Muldrow. Muldrow who produced more than half of Quazedelic's album recently produced and featured on a hot track on Mos Def's album, Ecstatic; with the song "Roses". Georgia Anne Muldrow is quickly becoming the go-to female producer. She immediately recognized the gift in Quazedelic and collabed with him on the album. Quazedelic joined Dudley Perkins and Georgia Anne Muldrow forming what they have deemed, the Oneder Friendz. Their music collectively spreads light and truth through crazy music.
Quazedelic is still connected as a producer as well as a solo artist. Recently the Delic produced a song for Kurupt and Snoop called, Build You Up, Tear You Down. He also produced the banger, Wait A Minute by Redman and Methodman. While payin the bills with beats, the Delic has taken his artistry to an experimental level you gotta love with, The Arrival 2012 A.U. The album is being compared to the works of  Gnarles Barkley.
Many are predicting that Quazedelic will be the "next guy" on the scene bringing music revolution. Quaze has worked with the inventors of the funk, so funkitiers have said he could be considered the lost "Clone of Dr. Funkenstein". The album exudes his true talent as rapper, singer and producer. The title itself raises an eyebrow as to what to expect from the anticipated release, especially in lou of the movie 2012 to be released this November. When asked, Quazedelic commented that 2012 A.U meant 2012 After Us. It has also been said that this album is the hip-hop soul survival kit for the predicted 2012 events.
The album will be released worldwide this summer through 3r Door Records/ePistrophik Peach Sound. Quazedelic is taking no prisoners when it comes to his timeless soul penetrating lyrics that leave you with more than an appetite for thought. He's beyond just hip-hop, he's beyond just rap, he's true funk. Quazedelic has definitely been a hidden treasure the world of music in general will enjoy with every listen.
