Jamell Clarke pka Youn Lion was born April 16, 1995 in the Bronx, New York. At the very early age of 12, he broke into the Jamaican Dancehall scene by writing producing and performing a track with the hot dancehall singer Barbee entitled "Age is Just A Number". Since then Youn Lion has been actively performing at various venues in New York City. He has worked on collaborations with Pleasure P (from Pretty Ricky) and has worked hard to create quite a stir in the industry. "Lil Lion a murda! Dis ya artist a di future. Look out fi him," Beenie Man said.
His New Single "Move Your Body" will be exclusively released digital worldwide this summer. It will be available June 2009 on AFFLUENT RECORDS through IRIS Distribution on all major online sites. The video is currently being promoted online at myspace.com and youtube.com.
