3OH!3 Scores RIAA Platinum for Breakthrough First Single; “Don’t Trust Me” Reaches Top 10 on Billboard’s “Hot 100″

While Reigning at #1 on iTunes' "Top Alternative Songs"; Electro Duo Slates Series of Summer Radio Festivals in Advance of Headline Spot on Vans Warped Tour '09

NEW YORK, NY–(Marketwire – May 7, 2009) – "Don't Trust Me," the first single from Photo Finish recording group 3OH!3's full-length debut, "WANT," has been certified platinum by the RIAA for digital sales now exceeding 1.1 million. The single has proven a top 10 sensation, currently standing at #9 on Billboard's "Hot 100" as it bullets its way up the top 15 at CHR/Top 40 radio outlets nationwide. "Don't Trust Me" is also a #1 smash on iTunes' "Top Alternative Songs" chart, while also holding strong as a top 5 favorite on the comprehensive "Top Songs" tally.

Both "Don't Trust Me" and the acclaimed "WANT" are seeing sales explode, with each scoring their biggest sales week to date. As a result, the album is quickly ascending the top 50 on the Billboard 200.

Currently on the road co-headlining "The Alternative Press Tour 2009," 3OH!3 has revealed a slate of upcoming radio-sponsored festival appearances, kicking off on May 10th with KDND 107.9 FM's annual "Endfest" at West Sacramento's Raley Field (see itinerary below). From there, the Boulder, Colorado-based electro duo will hit radio festivals in such markets as Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Saratoga Springs, and Poughkeepsie.

Next, 3OH!3 — who recently wrapped a European tour supporting Katy Perry — will set out on the highway as headliners on this year's Vans Warped Tour, set to take off on June 26th at Pomona, California's Pomona Fairplex. This marks the second consecutive Vans Warped Tour for the duo, whose live set was unquestionably among the 2008 festival's biggest crowd-pleasers.

The "Don't Trust Me" companion video clip is also proving a sales triumph, coming in as the week's #2 "Top Alternative Music Video" on iTunes. The clip — directed by Travis Kopach (Panic At The Disco, All Time Low, Circa Survive) and newcomer Isaac Ravishankara — is in play across the MTV spectrum, including "Heavy" rotation at MTV and MTV Hits, as well as "Heavy" rotation at FUSE. 3OH!3 recently found time in their busy schedule to travel south of the border to Cancun, Mexico, where they taped a performance and appearance for the next season of MTV's blockbuster reality series, "The Real World," for which they will also be contributing the theme song. "The Real World: Cancun" will debut on MTV later this year (check local listings).

Produced by Matt Squire (Panic At The Disco, Boys Like Girls), "WANT" sees 3OH!3 — a.k.a. beatmaster Nathaniel Motte and MC Sean Foreman — unleashing tongue-in-cheek rhymes and beats that incorporate '80s pop, electronica, and crunk hip-hop to deliver a knockout punch. The album has drawn copious critical acclaim, with further features appearing in Alternative Press and Rolling Stone.

Named "Artists To Watch" by Rolling Stone, which hailed the duo's "unhinged" live sets, "tuneful emo-pop hooks," "spastic electro grooves and aggro rapping," 3OH!3 followed the release of "WANT" with a number of high-profile television performances in recent months, including NBC's "Last Call with Carson Daly" and FUEL.TV's "The Daily Habit."

Furthermore, 3OH!3 appeared on a variety of 2008 year-end lists, including Alternative Press' "Readers Poll '08," which named the duo the year's "Most Underrated New Artist." In addition, the New York Post named "Don't Trust Me" to its "208 Best Songs of 2008" ranking, hailing the single as "trashy, gimmicky, super fun."

3OH!3's MySpace page — located at www.myspace.com/3oh3 — has proven wildly popular, with total plays now exceeding 141 million. The page has long been among the networking site's top 10, this week marking 3OH!3 as the #1 "Indie – Electronica" outfit, and #3 "Indie" band overall.
