GET UP, GET OUT and DO SOMETHING!!!! TEEN COMMUNITY CLEAN UP PROJECT!

On Saturday, April 25th FOR ME Inc., an entertainment business education program,  will launch its "Get Up, Get Out and DO SOMETHING" Teen Community Building Initiative during Global Youth Service Day!!

Global Youth Service Day is the biggest service day for youth in the world!  It is the time when we come together to focus the world's attention on what young people are contributing every single day. (www.gysd.org)

Over 25 teens will join with other community organizations, entertainment companies, and adult volunteers to participate in a community clean up effort in the Old Fourth Ward District in Atlanta GA.

The Old Fourth Ward is a historically African American neighborhood on the east side of Atlanta's Downtown, it is famous as the birth place of Dr. Martin Luther King as well as the location of Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Sweet Auburn District. Our clean up will take place in an area in desperate need of beautification!

The teens in the FOR ME program will also be filming this clean up project as part of their "Get Up, Get Out, and DO SOMETHING" Public Service Announcement (PSA) that will premiere at a very special teen event on May 22nd (Details Coming Soon!)

This is a great opportunity for the community (adults and teens) to come together and make a difference….YOU set the example, get involved…we need your support!!!!

TEENS and Adult Volunteers who are interested and ready to GET UP, GET OUT and DO SOMETHING..please join us!
