NEW YORK, March 4, 2009 – The battle that  "America's Best Dance Crew"fans have been waiting for has arrived and it's sure to be a Girls vs. Boys fight to the finish! The remaining two crews compete for dance supremacy and the $100,000 cash prize in the LIVE Season three finale of MTV's hit reality dance competition series from Warner Horizon Television – "Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew" on Thursday, March 5, at 10p.m. ET/ tape delay PT. Both representing for Los Angeles, Quest Crew and the Beat Freaks – the first-ever all-female crew in a finale – will face-off for the top spot and reunite with their fallen competitors. The culmination of the show's most choreographically diverse and physically demanding season ever, for finale all nine Season three crews will take to the stage again to dance for the first time-ever in "Judges' Choice" performance mash-ups. Brand-new for the series, "America's Best Dance Crew" judges J.C. Chasez, Lil Mama and Shane Sparks will decide which crews perform together to create the most innovative, once-in-a-lifetime dance collaborations ever seen in a  "Dance Crew" finale. Leading up to America's crowning of its next "Best Dance Crew," fans can view this season's crew performances and cast their votes for the final two crews at http://dancecrew.mtv.com. Following the Season three finale of "America's Best Dance Crew," viewers should log onto MTV.com for a LIVE post-show hosted by MTV News correspondent Tim Kash. Live from LA, Kash will bring the "Dance Crew" stage to series fans at home through real-time reactions from the winning crew and their fellow Season three competitors, interviews with the judges and by breaking down the biggest moments from the finale. 
The season three premiere of "Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew" ranked as the #1 cable program in primetime on Thursday night among P12–34 and averaged over 2.0 million viewers (P2+). Since then, the series has ranked #1 in its time period (Thursday 10–11 p.m.) among Persons 12–34, versus all of cable. In season three to date, the series has also reached over 18 million total viewers (P2+) on MTV with 10.5 million in the Persons 12-34 demo.
"America's Best Dance Crew" is hosted by Mario Lopez and shot on location in Los Angeles as dance crews of five to seven members perform their hottest moves for dance supremacy and a $100,000 cash prize.  Every performance-themed episode gives insight into the crews' emotion, spirit and inspiration as they step up to the challenge and showcase their innovative choreography and skills.  Viewers from around the country choose their favorite crews via text messaging, phone and online voting (http://dancecrew.mtv.com).  The two weakest teams as determined by voting show their best moves for the judges with the hope of advancing to the next round.  One crew will be eliminated each week, ultimately revealing the nation's best dance crew.
"Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew" is executive produced by "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson, Joel Gallen (Tenth Planet Productions), Hip Hop International's Howard Schwartz and Karen Schwartz (the creators of the USA & World Hip Hop Dance Championships), Rob Lee (Bayonne Entertainment), Harriet Sternberg and Abe Hoch (both of Dream Merchant 21 Entertainment).
