HIPHOP ELITE HEADLINED BY JADAKISS WITH FABOLOUS AND SLIM AT APOLLO ON MARCH 7

Mary Flowers Entertainment presents a HIPHOP concert of master rappers,  headlined by JADAKISS with FABOLOUS and SLIM, at the Apollo Theatre on Saturday,  March 7, for one show,  at 8 p.m. HIP HOP is the New York based phenom which exploded like a force of nature, in the Seventies, into the music world and beyond and has evolved into a worldwide megabillion dollar show business culture. The Apollo Theater has been the venue of numerous concerts, toplined by HIPHOP icons like Jay-Z and The Roots, which played to SRO audiences.

A native New Yorker,  JADAKISS, (nee Jason Phillips) is a household name in  HIPHOP circles, as an alum of rap groups Ruff Ryders and LOX (Living Off eXperience), before launching his first solo album "Kiss The Game Goodbye' which was followed by "Kiss of Death," a rap classic.   A savvy businessman and a member of rap's platinum sales elite, JADAKISS latest album,  THE LAST KISS, includes his hit single, featuring Faith Evans,  "Letter to B.I.G," a song from the Biggie Smalls  NOTORIOUS  biopix soundtrack, which hits stores on March 10.  

FABOLOUS (nee John Jackson) is a Brooklyn, NY native son and a busy HIPHOP magnate, who owns a clothing line.   His debut album "Ghetto Fabolous," in 2001, achieved platinum status.  Fabolous is a Grammy nominee and 2008 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awardee for Top Rap Song – "Make Me Better." His discography includes "Street Dreams," "Real Talk," "From Nothin' To Somethin," and  "Loso's Way," a soon-to-be 2009 album release.

SLIM ( nee Marvin Scandrick) formerly of 112, made his solo album debut LOVE'S CRAZY, last November. SO FLY is Slim's first solo single.  112 is the storied HIPHOP and R&B quartet out of Atlanta, whose album "Pleasure & Pain" went platinum; is a co-Grammy Awardee with Puff Daddy and Faith Evans, in the 1997 Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group category for "I'll Be Missing You." Group boasts world tours with  the  Isley Brothers, New Edition, Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson.
