Jon Famous is slated to release his debut CD "Crazy Genius" Spring 2009
Washington, DCTuesday, February 24, 2009 – Fresh Exec Entertainment will release Jonathan "Jon Famous" Hendry's new CD "Crazy Genius" distributed through Fontana/Universal.  Fresh Exec has partnered with Stone World Music/Fase 1.  This release comes after Jon has experienced producing tracks for some of today's top artist.  The CD "Crazy Genius" earned its title because it describes Jon's personality when he hits the studio.  He thinks out the box.  A lot of artists have their own style and sound but Jon has his own sound that is as diverse as his audience.  If you look up the definition of genius in the dictionary it reads: an exceptional natural capacity of intellect, especially as shown in creative and original work in science, art, music, etc. Jonathan "Jon Famous" Hendry is just that when it comes to creating new sounds.  His natural ability to produce diverse sounds from rock beats to hard core hip hop makes Jon Famous turn into a crazy scientist in (his lab) the studio.  Jon Famous's hard-hitting drum patterns, riffs and off the planet melodies combined with songwriting abilities have become heavily sought after by artists looking for the next new, fresh, hit sound.
Since Jon's decision to pursue music as a full-time artist, he spends 16 hours on most days dedicated to making beats, composing Hip Hop, Pop and R&B, writing lyrics and working with artists. Jon's work effort has landed him the nickname "24/7" by those close to him. Some of the notable industry giants that Jon has either produced or co-produced at this early stage in his industry career include Lil Wayne (Coconut Juice Remix- TygaFeat. Lil Wayne, Rich Boy (Produced), Jim Jones (12 Days- Jim Jones Presents Bryd Gang Jetlag Ash, Noe, (Produced/Featured), Too Short (Ass On Deck), Lil B (The Pack), Mack Maine (Produced). He has opened up for SlumVillage at Howard's Homecoming in 2006; laid tracks for Atlantic Records artist Twista and other recording artists Juvenile, Keak da Sneak, and Lil Fizz. Jon also works with several up-and-comers like Chevy Jones (L.A.), Young Meek (Sacramento), Wale and A.P. (D.C.), and Khaliyah Williams (Philadelphia) to name a few. Jon is currently in the studio building up his production catalog and working on his freshman Hip Hop CD, "Crazy Genius".  He has also been learning to play the bass guitar and piano to further expand his musical talents, along with developing his ability to play the drums and brass instrument.
His first single, "Certified Hustla" featuring Jim Jones, is a guaranteed club hit with its innovative futuristic sound, mixed with a defiant beat that will certainly cause you to stomp your feet on the floor. The hot single has been released and has found its spot on the radio airwaves of Power 105 (NY) and Sirius Shade 45.
Jon has a diverse team of beat bandits that accompany in fine tuning his audio senses.  His team includes: Lil B (of the Pack), D-Mack, Jim Jones, 1-15 (Zone 4), K'hari, J, Megan De Magnus, Dj Dok Doc (Producer), Steven Dukes (Producer) 2 Easy (Producer) and Klappa.
Fans can catch Jon on the cover of LAV Magazine's winter issue.  He can also be found on websites onsmash, realtalkny, etc.
