Former University of the Arts student-turned-ultra celebrity choreographer CiCi Kelley returns to Philadelphia after 6 years to host an expert panel, one exclusive master class, and speak to the city's artistic youth.
Philadelphia, PA – She's dance.  She's glamour.  She's on MTV.  She's BACK in Philadelphia!  Former University of the Arts student CiCi Kelley, now one of entertainment's A-list choreographers and producers, will be in Philadelphia from March 13 – 16, 2009 on an extensive public relations and artistic tour.  One of her major stops will be at Radio-One's 2nd Annual Music & Entertainment Conference at the Philadelphia Marriott on Sunday March 15 at 12:30pm.  She and legendary choreographer Fatima Robinson (the artistic vision behind Dreamgirls and the 2009 Oscar Awards) will sit on an expert panel for dance, speaking to aspiring dancers from the area.  CiCi will also appear at Philadelphia's Creative and Performing Arts High School on Friday morning to speak to current dance students about having passion, making it in the biz and the importance of training and technique.
A native of Atlanta, GA, the 27-year-old dance extraordinaire considers Philly to be her second home.  "Who doesn't love the city where the cheese steaks are real and the arts are so passionate?" says CiCi.  "Philly is the place that gave me my edge. It gave me courage and taught me the rawness and soulful aspect of hip hop"  Along with a host of club appearances and parties, CiCi will hold an exclusive hip hop master class at the internationally acclaimed Philadelphia Dance Company, better known as Philadanco.  The master class, which will be held on Sunday March 15 at 4:30pm, will be a one-hour intensive choreography/dance training focusing on merging classic technique with today's hottest moves.
CiCi has performed and/or choreographed with the likes of Beyonce, MTV's hit reality show 'MADE', Tyler Perry, LL Cool J, Tina Turner, Wyclef Jean, Philly's own Musiq Soulchild and countless more.  Be sure to look out for her and the dozens of other celebrities that will be all over the city for the entertainment conference.  Show her your best moves and…you never know, it may be you we see next on MTV!
