ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Today's youth often enter the "real world" unprepared for the financial challenges that await them. The Money XLive event is designed to combat financial illiteracy and gives high school and college-age youth an exciting way to pick up entrepreneurship and financial education lessons.
Money XLive (http://www.moneyxlive.com/) is taking place at the Grove of Anaheim on February 27th, 2009 (3:20 – 7:45) and brings together sport stars, celebrities and other entertainers to provide them a financial education in an MTV award show style environment.
Wilmer Valderrama, John Salley, Jessie Billauer, Cris Judd, Brian Sumner, and Christian Hasoi will be appearing live at the event. Money XLive will also feature video appearances by Chuck Liddell, Matt Leinart, Greg Lutzka, Travis Pastrana, Steve Astephen, Roy Powers, Kenny Bartram, Brian Deegan, Rick Johnson, Sunny Garcia and Christina Milian.
Live performances by Trey Smoov, Kelley James, the dance crew Kaba Modern, DJ Mark Moreno and the announcer for the Anaheim Ducks – Devin Christopher.
Tickets to this event have been donated to over 30 nonprofit organizations that empower youth and attendance is expected to exceed one thousand. Nonprofit partners include: Junior Achievement, STANDUP for KIDS, the World Trust Foundation, Hip-Hop Summit Youth Council, Brockman Institute, AIGA Foundation and the Matt Leinart Foundation.
