"Join the 'Battle' Against Acne" and Become the FIRST Clearasil(R) Dance Crew
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ — Do you have a dance crew? Clearasil(R) is searching for crews to battle it out to become the first Clearasil(R) Dance Crew. Clearasil(R) has partnered with celebrity choreographer GEO, the Godfather of Dance Crews and the owner of Icon Dance Complex, to execute a casting call to identify the five hottest dance crews. If your crew has skills on the dance floor, Clearasil(R) wants to see them.
On Saturday, February 28, 2009, auditions will take place at Icon Dance Complex in Englishtown, NJ from Noon to 4 p.m. The casting call will showcase the elite in dance talent with an action packed day of Clearasil(R) and competition. Teenage crews, aged 13 to 22 and in groups of five to eight members, will have the chance to perform a one minute dance routine in front of a panel of judges including GEO, Beth Hubela and a New York City talent agent. As the judges narrow down the crews to the top ten, they will then be asked to perform a free style sequence to be named one of the five finalists.
The five winning crews will advance to round two of the competition as they compete in the "Clearasil(R) Pimple Blocker Battle" in Times Square on April 7, 2009, for the opportunity to become the first Clearasil(R) Dance Crew and win a prize package worth over $10,000.
Dance crews will compete in the 'battle' against acne to promote Clearasil's new Ultra(R) Pimple Blocker Pen.
