New York, NY, 1/02/09 (Hip Hop PR Wire) — Kipsy to release the SWAG album via Koch Entertainment / Continuous Entertainment. Kipsy has signed a partnership with Continuous Entertainment /Koch Entertainment to release his album first quarter of 2009. Kipsy’s SWAG album is will debut both his lyrical and production talents.
The 21 year old, Black/Puerto Rican, goes by the name of K.I.P. (K) Knowledge, (I) Is (P) Power. Known by his immediate family as Michael Wilson; to the streets he’s known as Mike Kipsy. He was raised in the city of Wichita Falls, Texas where he was given the nick-name Kip (K.I.P.), originally meaning Keep It Pimpin, for his unusual smooth talk and style. Kipsy has worked with artist from all over the southern region of the U.S. Starting to take his rap career seriously at the age of 17 he has built an outstanding record of consistent street mix tape hits. He began in Texas with rappers such as D-lo and ESCO, only to move further east with his solo career in Atlanta and South Carolina. There he worked with producers such as P-No and Midnight Black who had produced for two of the south’s top artists Young Jeezy and Juvenile. He’s also done collaborations with southern groups Troy and Hollywood and Southern Nation. Kipsy has worked with Charleston, South Carolinas own D.J. Dynamite and also been featured on mix tapes from D.J. Elite.
Among the tracks on the Kipsy SWAG album there’s is a blend of music that touches on everyday life that relate to our youths, in or out the hood. In Kipsy’s SWAG album he raps about being fly, dealing with the hate, the hustle, and something which most artist avoid which is the realness of poverty that effect many of our communities.
Kipsy is a stand-alone workstation as previously stated, Kip is a producer and has produced much of his own album he has also produced for many unsigned artist with talent. He production style is unique and will definitely identify his SWAG album among other releases this first quarter of 2009.
