About "Frustration (Recession Anthem)":
As art should reflect the cultural and societal shifts and trends, "Frustration" does so by reflecting on the problems that are heightened during this economic downshift such as: employment or lack thereof, securing housing, strains on intimate relationships, and much more. Though this classic record was written in 2003, it is still relevant and rings true today. As all good music transcends genres, this track is relatable to not just Hip Hop lovers.
"Frustration (Recession Anthem)" is already available digitally on iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic, and Amazon. The physical release date of the track is projected to be mid-February 2009.
Credits to the track are as follows: Written & Produced by: go-d, Beat by: Nebula 1, Recorded and mixed by: PF Cuttin, Mastered by: Andy VanDette for Master Disk.
About go-d:
History comes alive to connect with the present through rapper/song writer Keith "go-d" Fleming. The Brooklyn native takes inspiration from all aspects of hood life and growing up in it, including: the struggle, the pain, the love, the innocence of children, becoming a man, trying to live righteously, and the rich history of his people – just to name a few. Using Hip Hop as his medium, go-d eloquently elucidates the stories of those lost in the urban jungle over hard beats to become a modern day griot. go-d produces intellectual Hip Hop that’s actually good.
