Wu Tang Latino Artists Ready to Drop New Compilation, Wu Latino Presenta La Familia

The Latino counterparts of New York's infamous rap crew, Wu-Tang Clan, Wu-Tang Latino are readying a new album dubbed Wu Latino Presenta La Familia. The compilation, which includes tracks by Wu Latino artists, will be available on all major digital music stores starting April 29th. Lead single "Mama" by Boyz del Barrio (who have sold over 4 million copies worldwide of their past releases) has already hit the internet accompanied by the first of several music videos to come. Wu Latino Presenta La Familia will introduce these artists to new audiences worldwide and will set the stage for future releases from the Wu Latino camp.

As a label, Wu-Tang Latino is a collective of top-notch Latin talent, including hip-hop duo Fly and Polzino, Mangani, UKrime (which includes Rick Gonzalez from Illegal Tender, Biker Boyz, Coach Carter just to name a few) and melodic Bachata group Nueva Era (whose four self released albums sold over a quarter million copies), and the two-time Grammy winner "Pharell of Latin Music," Rameses (known for his contributions to Daddy Yankee's Barrio Fino).  "A lot of Hip Hop and Latin artists are reaching out to make music with us, but at the moment we are very picky as to whom we work with," explained label owner Rayroq Acosta. Ford's new Flex starts arriving in dealerships this summer. This decidedly atypical utility will offer eight two-tone roof options featuring two contrasting light roof colors -- White Suede (Eaton's choice) and Brilliant Silver.

Eaton, who cultivates art for city streets, gallery walls and everywhere in-between, is not the first personality to find inspiration from Ford Flex. Two renowned customizers, Chip Foose and Funkmaster Flex, already have worked their magic to explore the customizing possibilities for the new vehicle.

"This thing is fresh!" Eaton said. "The Flex roof is a great place for artistic expression -- and it's fun to work in a public space like an auto show, where I get energy from the people."

Eaton began pursuing street art as a teenager, painting everything from urban billboards to dumpsters. He was born in Hollywood, Calif., skateboarded as a youth in England and spent teenage years in Detroit, near the hotbed of Ford product development where Flex was created.

Eaton designed his first toy for Fisher Price at age 18 and has since become a driving force in the world of 'designer toys.' Eaton emerged as an urban art trendsetter, founding ThunderDog Studios in 2003. The Queens studio is a prominent player in branding, illustration and fine-art-based urban toy development.

BUMSQUAD DJ'Z MOURN THE LOSS OF ONE OF THEIR CELEBRATED DJ'S

(New York, NY, March 17, 2008) David M. D'Agostino aka DJ Wits, passed away as a result of a heart attack suffered this past Friday, at his home in Albany, NY at the age of 25. Wits was a member of Hustle Squad DJs, Bum Squad DJZ, Team Afficial, as well as being a Justo Mixtape All-Star. Featured on the nationally broadcast Music Choice network, his weekly mixshow was heard by up to 35 million listeners, not to mention his numerous creative and unique "mixtapes" that garnered the respect of mixtape connoisseur's around the United States.  His dedication and creativity won him the honor of being nominated "Best New Mixtape DJ" at the 10th Annual Justo's Mixtape Awards at the end of 2006.

Despite losing his sight to tumors at the age of 15, DJ Wits, by the age of 17, achieved the much aspired goal of purchasing his own set of turntables and has since polished himself within his craft as a disc jockey.  DJ Wits believed that it was his tireless commitment and hard work that set him apart from the many other up-and-coming DJ's and not his visual impairment.

Wu-Tang Latino To Distribute Download Cards For New Comp

Wu-Tang Latino will promote its first compilation, 'Wu Latino Presenta La Familia,' with 200,000 free download cards distributed at college campuses.

The Latin urban label is partnering with digital distributor The Orchard to make the album available across digital retail April 29. The download cards, to be handed out two weeks before release, will provide two free tracks and two free ringtones at Wu Latino's Web site and the label's MySpace page. A physical release through Universal is planned but no date has been set.
