Dallas, TX, 12/19/08, (Hip Hop PR Wire) -- Certified Lord Gang DJ Da' Hitman has recently released his third mixtape of December to finish of the month and the year with a bang. Featuring world premier exclusives from major and independent artists along with an ingenious plot weaved throughout the mixtape, Da' Hitman has assembled one of the top mixtapes of 2008.
"This mixtape is one of my favorites; not only for the exclusives and the great blend of Hip-Hop, but also for the theme of the mixtape. I wanted to level the playing field between the indies and majors with this mixtape and the others that I drop and I think we reached that goal and captured the essence of that with the theme. Premiering the new single from Lords of the Underground is definitely a highlight, but I also love the work from SHO, Mel Gates, Trap, Nutrageous, and the other artists in the mix. I worked closely with Dallas rap artist Scott Johnson on this project and I have to say that his work put this mixtape over the top with the skits and his music." - Da' Hitman
Scene of the Crime starts out with news reports of a DJ running rampant and attacking wack DJs and radio PDs for their repetitive playlists. As the mixtape continues we get drawn further into the plot with more news reports following the story, finally ending with Da' Hitman eluding capture and riding off with his partner-in-crime Scott Johnson. Da' Hitman also leads to an entire series of mixtapes from fellow Lord Gang DJs that follow a similar plot. This mixtape is being offered exclusively through the rising mixtape business at That Crack. Da' Hitman had previously used DatPiff, but recently agreed to release future mixtapes exclusively through That Crack. Da' Hitman is a Certified Lord Gang DJ and also holds the executive title of VP of New Media with Lord Gang Worldwide, LLC and serves as the VP of Lord Gang DJs in the Southern Region-US.
