Chicago, IL, 12/31/08 (Hip Hop PR Wire) — The music and future hits continue as Urban Tracks Entertainment subsidiary, Heat City Records plans to start 1st quarter 2009 with the grass-roots marketing of Hip Hop act Tizzle and Streetz’ EP, ‘What Ya On.’ "We will roll out the video to the single, ‘Leanin 2 Da Side’ ,the first week of January 2009 and begin promotion at radio later that month." states Heat City CEO Rodney K. Jackson, a BMI award-winning songwriter and producer. Plans are underway for a West Coast promotional tour starting in L.A. for the pre-Grammy events and performances in Phoenix, AZ during All-Star Weekend. Upicktheartists.com has begun the process of signing artists for their first quarter compilation. Fifteen artists will be picked to release their song through Heat City Records (currently distributed by Adrenaline/ADA/Warner Music). Like Myspace.com, artists can upload their bio, songs, videos, and photos. But the difference is that artists have thirty days to secure the most votes and positive comments from their fans.

The top vote-getters will be featured on the compilation "Upicktheartist.com Vol.1" and have the opportunity to release their full album as well. The difference in our business model is that Heat City Records will also handle radio promotion, web/video promotion, and street marketing for these artists." Brave New World Confronts the Teen Violence Issue

Federal Way, WA, 12/30/08 (Hip Hop PR Wire) –  Brave New World, Inc (BNW) will present YOUth!: COMMUNITIES PROACTIVELY UNITING TO STOP TEEN VIOLENCE January 10th at Federal Way High School’s gymnasium from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. This event is a direct response to the uprising in gang violence that has involved and affected our community’s teenagers.

Hosted by Hip Hop Activist and radio show host, Keith Tucker of The Keith Tucker Show, the presentation will feature live music and an interactive Q&A with artist and BNW President/CEO, Shyan Selah. Selah, who has been an active force in community endeavors has spent the last 10 years visiting and performing at community centers, alternative schools, middle schools, high schools and colleges all along the West Coast and has acted as a reliable and relatable mentor to pre-teens and teenagers.

"Either you are a part of the solution or a part of the problem," says Selah. "I consider myself a solutionist and our young people are suffering when they shouldn’t have to. A lot of my work is based on bringing these issues to light for the purposes of providing new and efficient answers for today’s youth generation."

Selah says adults involved in sports and entertainment are often placed in a particular group of role models that young people feel that they can relate to more than others. He states that being a Hip Hop artist and entrepreneur has allowed his contact with them to include conversations that range from how to get into the music business to the state of their home lives and what happens to them on the streets. It is because of this unique platform for communication that Selah and Brave New World, Inc were asked to partner with both the Southwest Boys & Girls Club of King County as well as the Dr. Maxine Mimms Academies for Suspended and Expelled Youth.

Brave New World says everyone in the community, including teenagers, are invited to attend the YOUth! Event but there is a special emphasis on inviting parents, teachers, coaches and other community leaders who have consistent contact with the youth.

Topics that will be discussed at the event include stopping the violence, insights as to why this may be happening, how parents can find out if their children are involved in gangs, who are the main influences in a teenager’s life, the importance of communication and the link between money and violence.

Selah says although there have been many discussions about teen violence in the recent months, his company is taking a new and progressive approach by directly tying in a huge influence for many of these teens: Hip Hop.

His new project features the first artist to be released under Eric B. Music Group, "Avion". Eric did this album with "A" (Avion) because he enjoys working with great musicians. The video for "Hit the Floor" will hit the market in mid March. Eric B. Special Projects management team is also in negotiations with Boulevard Industries for a feature film, which is in pre-production. The cast will feature Eric B., Mahee and other members of Eric B. Special Projects executive management team such as: Supreme, Eddie Fuqon Brown, Freedom, John Cato, talent Avion and hot rising star model TL Blake. TL Blake now 20-years-old is one of the hottest new talents to break into young Hollywood scene may be featured in the video. Eric B. Special Projects is booking a series of shows (events) in major markets with a well-known international nightclub chain. Tickets for our club dates are rumored that VIP tickets start as high as $250 per person. No comment on the price for general entry as of yet. The events will launch off during the 51st Grammy Award Weekend.

Eric B and Avion will also do a series of Concerts dates which are already being scheduled for summer 2009. Eric B. and his legal team, headed by Washington D.C. based lawyer Floyd Blair, will make a decision on what deal Eric B. Music Group will sign before the album is dropped summer 2009. The Eric B.
