UK Stunners To Showcase 2009 Calendar At Exclusive Launch Event
London, UK (September 30, 2008) – The UK Stunners will be revealing their hottest calendar to-date at an exclusive launch event at London hotspot and celebrity favourite Studio Valbonne, London, on Sunday October 5th 2008. Bringing together the UK's hottest models and celebrities, past and present 'UK Stunners' will take part in a fashion show that will exhibit upcoming UK designers. The event will also introduce the 'Kaya Foundation' -a foundation set up in memory of UK Stunners Founder Kaya Bousquet- who sadly passed away earlier this year after being involved in a tragic car accident. The Kaya Foundation will aim to provide much needed help to some of the UK's most disadvantaged young people. The event will also include a live auction, a performance by UK rapper Sway, and surprise celebrity guests.
"It's heartbreaking that I have put the calendar together without Kaya this year, but I feel she would want me to continue what she started- showing the world that the best looking females are not necessarily the ones we see in US music videos, TV shows or movies- we have just as attractive ladies right here in the UK" says Sequoia Bousquet, Kaya's sister and Director of UK Stunners. "Since 2007 Kaya worked hard to make sure she chose the right girls for the calendar, not purely based on their physical attributes but also for their ability to show that they have the brains to match the beauty."
Joining The UK Stunners for this unprecedented event will be Solomon Kalou and his Chelsea FC teammates, Daniel Bedingfield, rappers Sway and Dizzee Rascal, actor Asher D, Tim Westwood, Calum Best and Ashley Cole as well as other well known stars from the entertainment world.
