"The Renaissance" in Stores November 4; Mobile Ticketing, Radio Promotions and Day-of-Show Mobile Alert Campaign Will Create 360 Degree Mobile Concert Experience for Fans

PALO ALTO, CA and NEW YORK, NY–(Marketwire – September 24, 2008) – Mozes (www.mozes.com), the service that connects people to what they love from their mobile phones, announced today that Universal Motown hip-hop artist Q-Tip is the latest musician to be featured in the exclusive "Music to Go" concert series, co-hosted and produced by Mozes and the Knitting Factory, New York’s premier venue for emerging talent. Mobile tickets to the free concert, to be held on September 29, will be offered exclusively to members of Q-Tip’s mob (mobile fan club) and to select music and cultural influencers in the New York area.

Fans who want to join Q-Tip’s mob and RSVP to receive a free mobile ticket to the show can text QTIP to 66937. No paper tickets will be issued.

Once at the Knitting Factory, fans can send messages to Q-Tip via text-to-screen messaging that will be displayed in real-time during the concert and will also appear on his MySpace page.

"The 360 mobile concert experience we’ve created with ‘Music to Go’ brings fans and music legends like Q-Tip together in an exciting new way," said Andrew Adashek, Director of Interactive Media for the Knitting Factory. "Through our partnership with Mozes, we are helping fans discover great new music and develop stronger connections to the artists they love through a trusted, spam-free service that combines text, voice and the web and, of course, live events."

Q-Tip, founding member of pioneering hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest and longtime MC, will release a new album, "The Renaissance," on November 4 and will perform music from that album, as well as fan favorites and deep cuts from his previous work as a solo artist, at the "Music to Go" exclusive show.

"Bringing Q-Tip to the stage is a great way to celebrate the third installment of the ‘Music to Go’ series," said Patricia Dao, Director of Business Development at Mozes. "As both a hip-hop pioneer and a new music innovator, Q-Tip brings together old school knowledge and a passion for how new technology can connect people through music. We’re looking forward to working with the Knitting Factory and Universal Motown on this event."

"Q-Tip has always been a musical trailblazer, and his mobile campaigns are no different," said Scott Kepnach, Mobile Marketing, Universal Motown Republic Group. "The ‘Music to Go’ event and our ongoing mobile campaigns with Mozes are ideal avenues for building Q-Tip’s relationships with both his longtime and his brand-new fans."

The Q-Tip concert is the third of the ongoing "Music to Go" concert series, which included a September 17 event featuring Jazmine Sullivan and a May 2008 performance and mobile contest with R&B star Lloyd, who offered a free trip to his hometown, Atlanta, for the fan who left the best voice message for Lloyd when requesting mobile tickets.

Members of the media are also invited to attend Q-Tip’s show at the Knitting Factory in New York on September 29. For more information, or for tickets, please contact: Patricia Dao, Mozes, Inc., patricia@mozes-inc.com.
