Pop Star magazine celebrates teen star power as they help kick off the Lil Kev and Alivia Annette Show album launch party. The new teen pop stars are celebrating the release of their album with an all teen party to be held Saturday August 30, at the Platinum Live club in Studio City, Ca. Lil Kev and Alivia Annette have invited all of their friends on the teen scene in Hollywood to come party with the next plateau of young entertainers in the business. Manny from the streets (Ryan Seacrest Show) will get the party started by hosting live from the red carpet and introducing the event's teen host Lil C-Note from the popular NBC series Heroes.
The release party will set the stage for the duo's debut project which features the individual, and collaborative efforts of the talented teens; including the smash single's "The Joker" and "Just You". With a vocal range and maturity that is vastly beyond her years, Alivia Annette is making it fun to be young and in love with the new anthem for teenage first love, "Just You". Early believers at radio are already buzzing about the young talent that has been compared to Mariah Carey. Lil Kev adds his spunky swag to the compilation with his hot new dance song, "The Joker" inspired by the character in the box-office hit "The Dark Knight". The duo, who happen to be co-owner's of their record label Take Ovuh records, want to make a change in the way young artists are looked at in the business, first by creating quality music and secondly by creating their own lane. The teens will begin hosting monthly teen showcases at the Platinum Live venue, which will give other tweens a place to showcase their talent and network with other working artists/actors and young movers and shakers.
